“As long as you’re doing stuff and talking to the other Pokemon, you aren’t being ignored. But... that’s also kind of the thing. You have to talk to other Pokemon and keep doing stuff. You can’t make friends without trying yourself, and you especially can’t feel sad or say anything really bad about it. Mother always said, “So you believe something, so it shall be.” Or something like that.”
