A/N - I have school in like 3 minutes and I have to bike and aiebajsbsha but yknow what Albedo takes priority and I couldn’t help myself when I saw the trailer- LETS HOPE I MAKE IT TO CLASS ON TIMEEE
I don’t have time to search for my divider so let’s pretend this is it
A mess.
Fingers tangled into light blonde hair, the small figure kneeling down till his forehead was pressed to the stone flooring. There was a small noise of disbelief before the alchemist spoke, “My notes are missing.”
You paused, standing at the edge of the cave as you watched him process the information. You knew Albedo, you knew how important his research was, how he liked to keep everything tidy and organized. This would no doubt strike him hard, and an urge to embrace the boy in your arms and whisper nothing but sweet promises overcame you.
“Albedo,” you began softly, steps echoing through the silence, a thud to the tension in the air. “Albedo look at me.” You loweted yourself down to your knees, till you were in front of him and on equal footing.
He looked up. You didn’t expect him to be crying, but the troubled expression seemed too controlled.
Your fingers were soft against his cheek, the pad of your thumb stroking away where tears should’ve been. You offered a smile to his neutral expression, “I’ll help you find them. I promise we can both find your notes, so don’t fret alright?”
His face softened only slightly, head tilting to lean further into your hand. There was a pause when he shuddered a breath in and out, closing his eyes and letting relief wash over him. A clear mindset, that’s what he needed to do to find the thief. “Thank you,” he said softly. “Im just overwhelmed, I should be focusing on how to gets the notes back…”
You pressed a kiss to his nose, and his eyes fluttered open.
“We will find a way to get your notes back,” you teased. Feeling accomplished when his eyes widened and a light flush covered his cheeks. “After all, I promised, didn't I?”
