I am interested in sugaring. Art school is expensive and I want to finish my degree. I am the type of person who prefers the more casual things in life-like a picnic spread on a beach instead of a fancy restaurant. Fancy stuff makes me uncomfortable. I also identify as non-binary. What do you think is the best avenue to become a sugar baby?

Ok, so a few things:

I never recommend getting into sugaring for the money. Weird right? But it’s true. If you’re desperate PLEASE do not start sugaring. It can put you in potentially dangerous situations if you begin to compromise your safety because you need money. Your safety is always first. Now, if you’re stable and just need some more cash to put away for your degree, that’s different. As for how to get into it, it really depends where you are. If you live in a big city you definitely have more options, but if you don’t you’ll most likely have to stick to sugar sites (I’ve reblogged a few lists you can reference). It’s totally possible to sugar via vanilla dating sites, but you have to be cautious, as any language that is too obvious (either on profile or over message) will most likely get your account banned.

I’m in LA but many of the POTS I talk to aren’t into the whole “luxury” scene. A lot of guys with money like to stay low-key. I would use the fact that you’re not looking for the “luxury lifestyle” experience as a selling point for your profile. That does NOT mean that you shouldn’t expect less than you deserve, but saying that you’re more into something low key is actually a positive rather than something to work around.

As I’m a cis-het woman, I don’t really have a lot of advice to give when it comes to the NB aspect of your experience. If you feel the need to mention it on your profile, certainly do so. If hiding (or showing) a part of your identity makes you uncomfortable while sugaring, don’t do it!

Sugar brings you your shake, but after a few minutes someone else brings a pesto and artichoke heart panini out for you. Perhaps you caught them trying to leave their shift and they were simply too polite to tell you otherwise.

Then a shake please, since I can't do tuna! And it's like this.. My brain, sometimes it drifts away from me so to speak. I'll start to go somewhere and when I am present as a person, I'm somewhere else.

Long walks/trips by myself, especially during windy sunny days or summer nights
