Mo Money Mojitos
Anyone else finish their NYS DCA application? We did...and we need a drink! Continuing our post-application affinity for alcohol, which seems to be our thang, our clarinetist Isabel Kim has come up with a new libation to celebrate the potential of mo' money coming through the door.
Mo Money Mojito$ (for 2) A green cocktail inspired by the dollar bill $ign$ that are protruding from our eyeballs after finishing another grant application.
1/2 green apple, diced 6 lime wedge$ 6 mint leave$ 2 oz dark rum1 oz green apple liqueur 1 oz $imple $yrup $oda water Ca$h Muddle mint, apple$, lime, and $yrup. Add to $haker with the rum, green apple liqueur, and ice, and $hake. Pour content$ into two gla$$e$. Add ice and top with $oda water. Garni$h with another $prig or 2 of mint. $it back and enjoy while you wait for those grant dolla billz to roll in. Use 100 dollar bill$ as coa$ter$. 50$ are ok, but anything $maller is unacceptable.
Last Thursday night RANY attended The Nouveau Classical Project,'s world premiere dance project entitled Potential Energies at BAM Fisher. The hybrid music ensemble collaborated with TrioDance Collective to perform a "new modern ballet. The 50-minute piece which is divided into three acts, each containing three movements, was conceived of and directed by NCP's founder Sugar Vendil and choreographed by Barbie Diewald to music by composer Trevor Gureckis.
