random headcanon cause I’ve been re-watching my marvel movies:

Peter Quill and SGR are actually pretty good friends. Peter’s one of the only other people Steve can talk to about how weird “the future” is, who’s still amazed at random modern things that most of his other friends take as run-of-the-mill. Steve loves hearing stories about space and Peter loves hearing the new music Steve brings him. Sam insists that too much time with Quill is a bad influence (but he makes sure all Steve’s music recs go through him)
