Introductory Drabble Thing (To help show his character/personality)
Oh dear. He was lost again. This wasn't unusual, especially when he traveled to new cities, however he'd been trying to get to his agency's new location, and the taxi had dropped him off in the wrong place. Or so it would seem. He couldn't find where he was looking for, and the map he had was not helpful to him at all. So there he was, on a street corner that was swarming with busy people, trying to find his way around, completely and utterly lost. This was not going well.
"Um..." The small white haired boy mumbled quietly, attempting to get the attention of anyone around him, however that wasn't really working so well. "E-excuse me.." He tried again, with no luck. He needed to speak louder, however for him, that was easier said than done, especially in this situation. He really did not do well with being lost, or with confusion, or with any situation that made him overly nervous really. His soft voice piped up again. "I t-think I'm lost.. C-can someone help me find S-Sunbeam Studios?" He sighed. No one seemed to even realize he was there. This was not good. Senri felt more and more nervous and upset by the moment. "A-anyone? P-please?" His voice shook. Still no reply.
To be honest by this point he was just about ready to cry. Small tears budded at the corners of his eyes and his lip started to quiver. He hated being lost. Eventually he just sat down right there on the sidewalk and started to wail, because he couldn't handle the fear anymore of being so totally lost. However this is what actually got him attention, and a nice lady finally rushed over, having noticed a crying child.
"Oh no, sweetheart, what's wrong? Are you lost?" She crouched down next to him, a worried expression on her face. She was probably a mother herself. She had that same expression that his mother always got when she was worried about him. Senri turned to look at her and sniffed, his sleeve moving to rub at his eyes as he tried to calm himself and stifle the sobs. "Y-y-yes.. I w-was trying to f-find where I-I'm s-supposed to meet m-my friends, b-but I'm new to this city and I g-got lost.." He was starting to calm down a little now, however he was still shaking a bit.
"Where are you trying to get to then? I can help you find it maybe." The woman questioned, noticing the map in his hand. "Do you have it marked?" Senri nodded. This lady was nice, and it made him feel better. "Uh-Uhm.." The small idol lifted the map, attempting to turn it the right way. He got it backwards, and the lady reached out to help him straighten it. Senri smiled a little, and then pointed to the spot that was circled on the map. "I-I'm supposed to go here." The woman stared at the map for a minute. "Isn't that that new recording studio that just opened? Sunrise.. Sunbeam I think?"
Senri brightened at the mention of the name, tears and nervousness completely forgotten for a moment. "Yes! That's it. That's where I need to go." He almost jumped up from where he was sitting he was so excited to not be quite so lost now. He blinked again then, realizing he should be more polite. "D-do you know how to find it?" His voice got quieter again. "Yes of course. You're just off by one block. All you have to do is head down that way-" The lady pointed down the street behind them, "-to the next street corner, and you should be right there. It's just across the street then. You were close. But this is a big city, so I can understand how you got lost." Senri was really happy now. He wasn't quite so lost anymore, and he felt a lot better now that someone had helped him.
"Do you want me to walk there with you?" The lady questioned, still seeming to be worried about him, and the white haired idol thought about this for a moment. It was probably a good idea. Even just being one block, knowing him, he was likely to somehow get lost again. He nodded, and the woman offered a hand as she straightened. The boy took it, slightly awkwardly, but honestly he was glad to be able to hold her hand. It was comforting, and it made him feel a lot safer. He followed after her as she headed off in the direction she'd pointed out to him earlier, clinging to her hand as though it was his mother's or like he had when his older brother had still been around. Soon enough, just as the lady had said, he could see the sign for Sunbeam Studios. Senri got really excited and happy then, bouncing as he walked. "There it is! Thank you thank you, miss. You're a really nice lady. I really appreciate you helping me."
She walked him towards the door, and Senri spotted his manager, Kento waiting just outside of it, looking around worriedly. He spotted them then as they got closer, and a look of relief washed over his face. Senri finally let go of the woman's hand, running towards the familiar face and proceeding to cling to his waist. The older man patted his head, ruffling the smaller boy's hair a bit. "Senri! thank goodness. There you are. I was worried you might have gotten lost again. Leave it to a taxi driver to go to the wrong place even when I gave them instructions on how to get here. Are you alright?" His eyes noted the woman whose hand Senri had been clinging to, and he smiled gratefully, while Senri nodded in response to his question. He was okay. Just a little shaken up. "Thank you for bringing him here. The kid gets turned around easily, and we try to look after him, however I had stuff I had to do right away and couldn't ride with him in the taxi." The woman smiled and said something about how it was no problem, but that she had to go now as she too had things to do, but she had wanted to make sure that the boy was safe.
Kento turned to Senri again as the woman went on her way. "Shall we go inside then and get you cleaned up? And how about some strawberry milk too to help calm those nerves? I'm sure that was terrifying for you. I know how you get." Senri's eyes seemed to sparkle at the mention of strawberry milk. It was one of his favorite things. "Yes please!" He skipped inside, rather excitedly now, glancing back at his manager until he caught up to him, and they both disappeared inside the door, Senri happily talking about the fact he was going to get his strawberry milk, until the door closed and their voices could no longer be heard.
This had turned out to be an okay day after all.
