There is this upscale restaurant ($;$$$) my rich boyfriend and me frequent a lot. Mainly because the kitchen closes late and even if it’s closed they always open it for us.
When we asked for the bill, the waiter came and gave ME the bill saying: ‘well, today it’s on you, he’s always the one inviting you. Where is the feminism?’.
I was left SPEECHLESS. How. Fucking. Rude.
My boyfriend started to laugh and I smiled and said yes of course. As soon as the waiter turned his back I looked at bf with the saddest puppy face and he said: I would never let you pay baby, don’t worry.
Then he put out 800euros in 10euros notes, which made a pretty thick stack.
When the waiter came to collect the bill, he said I can see it’s you who paid, he has never paid in smaller notes than 100 and he ALWAYS tips ;)
I played dumb and said: oh well, I had to break my little pigggy to come here.
He will learn not to fuck anyone’s hustle, specially not mine. My boyfriend always leaves at least a 100eu tip, but this time he left 0. Next time he will think twice before trying to fuck me up.
Anyone else has experienced any similar situation? I felt he was calling me a gold-digger in my face??? LOL

What’s the main enemy like? The protagonist? What’s a brief summary of your story? Do you have any themes your going for? Are you mimicking any specific games for guidence? Is there anything wild and different about your game? What’s your fav feature
This got a bit long...
The main Antagonist (Spice) is the Protagonist's (Sugar) sister. She is Sugar's opposite in just about every way.
Sugar is short, sweet, and agreeable. Spice is tall, bitter and stubborn.
Their fighting styles and abilities are also quite different. Sugar is, bouncy, agile and mainly long-range. Spice is stiffer, but stronger, and mainly short-range.
Brief summary of the story;
Princess Spice, unsatisfied with her share of her parents kingdom, steals Princess Sugar's crown and banishes her to the dungeons of Cocoa Castle deep in the heart of Cookie Kingdom.
Sugar must escape her prison, battle through her sister's Cookie Creeps, traverse the chocolate coated wastes of Cookie Kingdom to return home and take back her throne.
I'm not going for any specific themes, exactly. I'm hoping it comes of as fairly light-hearted and fun, but there's nothing much deeper than that going on. Not on purpose anyway.
I take most of my influence, for Sugar and Spice, from Mario games. It was originally meant to be a clone of the first Mario Brothers. It's since outgrown that a bit. Other influences are Cave Story, Zelda, Shovel Knight (it gave me so many fun ideas I hadn't considered) and a little Metroid.
As for outright mimicking things, there will be a few familiar puzzles and enemies (if only by their behavior). I tend to take a little bit from everything I see and play and try to incorporate it into my own stuff somehow. Trying to specifically name each influence would be impossible. ><
I don't think there's anything too wild about it. I doubt I'm doing anything that hasn't been done before, but I guess we'll find out!
My favorite feature...that's a tough one. I want to do more with her gumball shots, the basic ones that leave a little sticky residue behind. Use it for puzzle timing, sticking buttons down for a short period, or letting it stick enemies to things or maybe give her a temporary grapple spot.
The idea of having a weapon that leaves something behind to be used in puzzles is a fun one for me. Not sure I'll be able to do much with it, but I'm excited to try!
Tell me about your characters! Who are they, what are they trying to do, all that good stuff!
I am going to assume you mean characters from Sugar and Spice? =P
Sugar is the Princess of the Candy Kingdom, who finds herself far from home and trapped in the dungeons of her sister Spice’s Cocoa Castle. She’s trying to get out and back home to her own kingdom.
Spice is Princess of Cookie Kingdom. Not satisfied with one kingdom to rule, she is trying to take over Candy Kingdom as well.
Those are the main two, anyhow. Other than those, I’ve only mentioned two of Spice’s foot soldiers and a Boss of indeterminate allegiance. Info on her might ruin some things.
There are a handful of other characters, not too important overall, and two who are very important but would absolutely ruin the story if I said anything about them at all.
But ask away if you don’t mind having things spoiled. I can’t say when it’ll all be done anyway, so who knows you might forget. =)
