yeah that interview incident in particular made me so mad omg i had to take a break from twt -__- i didn’t see a single person blink or otherwise discrediting bts and yet armys were losing their minds bc bp 1) didn’t correct the interviewer, 2) said they were inspired by previous groups but didn’t mention anyone by name, 3) said their dream is to inspire future groups. my whole tl was just “how tf r they gonna open a door that was already open” and rlly rude disrespectful garbage abt the members it made me so fuckin angry jfc. plus they all refused to admit that bp faced additional challenges bc they’re a gg like way to deny the fact that women have to work harder to succeed y’all 🙄

it’s literally so fucking annoying, i’m sick of seeing it on the tl everywhere omg. i won’t deny that bts played a big role in mainstream recognition in the us especially but armys cannot handle seeing any group have any amount of success whatsoever without trashing them and discrediting them. it pisses me off how much shit i see thrown, like the amount of disrespect i see towards other groups makes me furious. it’s like all that matters to those ppl is charts and numbers and records. the obsession is embarrassing sometimes. i wish they’d at least refrain from making other groups accomplishments and goals about bts. AND the lack of respect for groups like snsd & shinee on top of that is just an extra layer of stupid that i can’t even begin to unpack
