Ask Gestalt: Who is Peri?

Something about your dream lingers in the back of your mind, so you decide to ask Gestalt directly.

Gestalt slowly opens one eye, and looks at you confused. They still seem to half asleep, and it takes them a moment to respond.

There is a deep sadness in Gestalt’s voice, and you feel that there is more to their name than what they are telling you. Was Suha the mysterious sibling Peri was waiting for?

You wonder if Gestalt would be willing to talk about Suha more, either in real life or in the dream tonight.

Well it seems Gestalt has given you a pretty clear answer, they don’t want to talk about their past while they are awake. Maybe that is what the Herald meant by “The threads are just a little clearer here.” 

Perhaps the next time you dream, Peri will be willing to talk about their past more than Gestalt will.

But right now it is morning, and Gestalt is right. Stay focused.

You set down of your own altar and head toward the ruins of the [Gestalt Family Estate]

When you arrive at the edge of your dream, there is a lone child-like figure standing among a pile of [Floating Debris] and an [Altar] with a sword embedded in it.

[Green Buds] are peaking out of the strange white stones and [Solar System Mobile] is attached to a small ramshackle lean-to.

The child looks younger than Cal, with thick black hair and bright red eyes. They are wearing tattered brown and green clothes that are caked with old mud.

Their eyes light up when you approach.

Their voice is like a delicate wind instrument, and when they realize you are not the person they were waiting for, their voice cracks and lowers in tone.

Who is Suha? Is this Gestalt? Their name is in the back of your mind but you have and odd feeling that this child and Gestalt have quite some distance between them.

You are only a few steps away from your [Altar] and the dream is already threatening to crumble. 

You don’t have much time left before you wake up.
