Meet The Parents. // AU

 This was the day they both looked forward to and feared at the same time. Not like Yixing didn't expect it to happen soon, with the pace their relationship has been developing, but still, there was a certain uneasiness to the situation. Especially if one considered the fact that his parents didn't even know he was gay in the first place. 

 And yet, he was taking Joonmyun to meet them, this time officially as his boyfriend. 

 He barely had time to wipe his hands into his pants so they wouldn't be so sweaty before he took his lover's hand and looked at him, hoping to get his attention from where the other was staring out of the window, taking in the streets of Changsha they were passing, obviously fascinated by Yixing's hometown (or maybe just avoiding the subject of today's meeting). "Joonmyun... Are you still sure about this?" He half-hoped the other would say no.

It’s nice to meet you. [ - peeking inside the box, a wide grin appears as he plucks a cookie. ] Any friend of Joonmyun is a friend of mine. [ - taking another cookie, he offers it. ] How are you today?

 After receiving such distressful texts from the leader, Yixing rushed from his bed and pulled on a pair of sweatpants, not even bothering with a tank top. There was no way this was happening; how could it? Joonmyun grew a pair of breast over the night, and that was certainly not normal. 

 So, shirtless as he was, he raced out of his room and burst into Joonmyun's without bothering to knock, and then gasped at the sight of his lover. "What the hell..?"

 As planned, Yixing made the reservations in a restaurant he knew all too well; older idols told him about it before as it was one place that offered complete secrecy and discreetness, so it was nearly perfect for anyone who was famous and known to sneak into without getting a bunch of paparazzi flashing them with their cameras, and the sasaengs fans whimpering and screaming right behind them. It was in a remote location, away from every known idol hang-out or dorm, and they even organized transport. 

 So, it was the one place he had decided would be good enough for the two of them with Joonmyun to have their first date at, and at half past seven, he was already ready for it. His legs were clad in tight, black jeans, and his torso in a deep purple shirt with a matching tie and black blazer over it. His hair was neater than usual, and with a small smile, he walked into the dorm's living room where he had agreed to wait for Joonmyun to come out of his own room. As he was early, Luhan managed to tease him a bit before he toddled off to Sehun's room, but other than that, he was left alone while he waited for the leader to show up.

Well… I guess it couldn’t hurt to have someone with the same face… first question, do you like bunnies?

{/Pauses for a second before coming up with a reply, slightly thrown off-balance by the simple yet random query.} Why, yes. I do. A majority of animals, in fact. But I never did have the time to raise a pet of my own.
