Prompts

I’m writing some short Laviyuu snippets, under 500 words. I’ve already asked @suicidetoro and @a-q-d for prompts and they sent me some great ones! To make things more complicated/random, I decided to go to a random color generator and add a color scheme to it. The result? Uh...kinda weird but whatever. I can do this.

@suicidetoro’s prompt - angst, hurt Lavi, doubting Kanda; lilac

@a-q-d‘s prompt - modern AU, rain, car/driving; pink

(to be honest I was secretly hoping the second prompt has purple so I can write about “Purple Rain” but, well, sometimes fate works against ya)

Oh, if anyone else want some Laviyuu ficlets send a prompt my way (I do have anonymous turned off though to battle bots/random assholes so, yeah, you have to log in. Sorry!)

Boy my reasons for choosing what to watch lately has been terrible.

Voltron - oh someone on my tumblr dash ships people in there let’s check it out Guardian - ditto Hannibal - ditto (although this has turned out to be a great thing because I genuinely like the show a lot now) A Very English Scandal/London Spy/Cloud Atlas - Ben Whishaw gets naked and kisses men on screen? sign me up (yeah...these aren't great, except AVES, which is ok, but only because I like black humor) Lilting - same as above, and the fact it’s half Chinese, but this film is exceptionally good so no regrets whatsoever Recent Bond films - need to write a convincing James for fanfic let’s do research (probably the most semi-legitimate reason) And now, I want to watch Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, because I just want to stare at Daniel Craig in glasses.

I wonder if everyone else has non-trashy reasons to watch things. Like ‘oh I’m watching this documentary because it saves the world’ or some such.

Hey guys. I just want to inform folks that, well, I’ve decided to drop out of @dgraymanbigbang this year. If there’s one next year I might sign up again. We’ll see.

Why you ask? Well, I got some news this past week at my doctor’s, and the thing I had surgery for last year came back again. (Not cancer, don’t worry, I’m not dying in any way, or dying faster in any way.) That coupled with me not being where I want to be with my novel progress, and stress in general, makes the deadline seems pretty looming. I thought I had it together a few months ago, but things change, yeah? So I’ll still be writing fanfic here and there (not on hiatus), but not meeting a deadline of any sort.

On the other hand, maybe I can convince @suicidetoro to draw some art for my Mafia!AU instead. I’d have to bribe her with other things though, of exactly what I’m not sure. XD
