Boy my reasons for choosing what to watch lately has been terrible.
Voltron - oh someone on my tumblr dash ships people in there let’s check it out Guardian - ditto Hannibal - ditto (although this has turned out to be a great thing because I genuinely like the show a lot now) A Very English Scandal/London Spy/Cloud Atlas - Ben Whishaw gets naked and kisses men on screen? sign me up (yeah...these aren't great, except AVES, which is ok, but only because I like black humor) Lilting - same as above, and the fact it’s half Chinese, but this film is exceptionally good so no regrets whatsoever Recent Bond films - need to write a convincing James for fanfic let’s do research (probably the most semi-legitimate reason) And now, I want to watch Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, because I just want to stare at Daniel Craig in glasses.
I wonder if everyone else has non-trashy reasons to watch things. Like ‘oh I’m watching this documentary because it saves the world’ or some such.
