I don't usually do this, and I know it is kind of late, BUT...

If you have a PS3  or if you have a PS4  or a Vita or a PSP or whatever

Do yourself a huge favor and get Suikoden 2 on PSN. In my humble opinion it is the single greatest JRPG I have ever played. It isn't terribly long so you won't be sinking hundred of hours into it or anything. It isn't crappy circa 90's attempts at 3D that looks like trash. It isn't 400 dollars on eBay. Its a relatively short but incredibly sweet 2D JRPG that is ten bucks. I firmly believe the depth of the plot is thus far unrivaled in digital narratives.

Treat yourself. Or in the very least buy it for you from me for Faustmas. Knowing more people are being exposed to one of my favorite games of all time is gift enough for me.

SuiCon 2013 Updates!

Alright everybody! We're getting ready for SuiCon 2013!

It's taken a lot of work, but we're getting there! XD

I'm so excited for the weekend. :3

Here are some updates:

Souveniiiirs! I just got all of the button pins I ordered from Recto. The design for the big pin was made by one of our members in the group. She's so AWESOME.

Also got these awesome keychains that you can personalize. One of our members also printed out a design for that and we're gonna fix that when we meet each other soon. :3

More to come! We still have bandannas and ID tickets for everybody.

We printed out flags (Normal and campaign type) and armbands for the event too. We would've made actual flags, but we didn't have enough time. :( They're still awesome though XD (I'm so excited GAH)

I also had Suikoden trading cards printed out for our Rina's Memory Game Station during our amazing race. Hehe!

And finally, just some WIP shots of our Stone Tablet of Promise. I made it into a cabinet so our Luc could stuff his magical concoctions in it for his Tablet or Dare game during the Suicon! And I can use it in my room after the con. >:3

I still have to sand it, put details on it (and that curved top part that i have no idea what to do), put putty on it, prime it, and paint it. Lol. I'm hoping to finish at least sanding it down and putting details on it by tonight. Or maybe I'll just sleep, cause I'm pretty tired. lol

Anyway, that's all for tonight! So many things to do until next weekend! I'm so excited for our SuiCon! XD If you guys can come, please do! Let's celebrate Suiko Day together! :D

Finally gathered enough motivation to replace Luc's burnt sleeve. Now all i have to do is to attach it to the rest of the shirt.

We also bought cloth for Magi cosplay for August~! Although I probably won't be able to start on it until Suikoden Day is over since we'll be preparing for our own local SuiCon.

Hi everybody! Our meet up during Toycon was a success!! We were able to meet so many other suiko fans, take tons of pictures, fangirl and fanboy with everybody, and recruit more people to join our suiko fan group! :D

During the convention, everybody was really excited and happy! We stood around and talked about our feels and other fandoms for hours. We were really tired by the end of the day, but very satisfied as well.

We decided to set the date of our mini suicon on July 13. We know it’ll be a few days after Suikoden Day on July 11, but we didn’t have a choice because there’s gonna be a con the weekend before that. ^.^;

Just you wait! This will be epic! I hope a lot more people can come and join us to cosplay or simply just to have fun and enjoy the company of other suikoden fans! :D

ToyCon is next weekend, so need to really cram now. @___@ Up there's a creepy pic to show off my contacts (because, bad lighting) and well, I needed to test them. And a pic of my partially (lopped off) styled wig. Need to fix it a bit more before Jamie's willing to continue styling it. =.='

So, for our Suikoden 2 group this June, I'm making a Mukumuku! :D

I've actually already cut up the fur to make the head and finished sewing it up, but I'll post another update for that.

Wish me luck! This is my first time making a stuffed toy like this and I'm not really sure how this would all turn out. lol

In preparation for our Suiko 2 group cosplay this June and July, I had our seamstress make my Riou outfit. It still needs a bit of work though and I don't have my belt, boots, and other accessories, but HEY! PROGRESS. Haha!

In preparation for next year's Suikoden day, we are inviting Suikoden 2 fans here in the Philippines to help us recruit and complete the 108 stars (plus all other characters, like LUCA BLIGHT ineedthisinmylife.).
