Also refered to as drones/habloids [sic] (male ants) and workers/diploids (female ants) because the females are the ones who leave the nest and collect food while the males reproduces with the queen. Rarely a fertalized egg with produce a male worker that's often infertile and not kept in the nest. Since Flik collects food for the nest and he's male, this makes him a male worker ant. "
