And found a match of similar Eclipses happening in the year 2559 BC. _________ According to the Vyasa, on the 13th day of the war : 16yr old Abhimanyu💪, the son of Arjuna, caused massive destruction to the Kaurava army and killed many soldiers when trapped in a Chakravyuh(Great maze). In order to stop Abhimanyu. The Kauravas send Jayadratha and Karna to kill abhimanyu. Karna along with Jayadratha shot an arrow that broke the abhimanyu's bow and arrow on Dronacharya's advice. The brave boy had only a sword in hand and used the broken chariots wheel as a shield. Later, Karna stabbed Abhimanyu to free him from his pain which killed abhimanyu. Arjuna was furious and vowed to kill Jayadratha before the sunset next day but the whole Kaurava army gave Jayadratha full protection using the Chakravyu. Suddenly during war, the sun set and it was Night. Jayadratha poked his head out to show that he was victorious with pride. But suddenly the sun reappeared in the sky and Arjuna shot Jayadratha with a arrow in his neck, beheading him down. The story goes that Krishna hid the sun with his Sudarsana chakra. But in reality Krishna tricked Jayadratha with the knowledge of the Solar eclipse happening on that day in that exact time. Arjuna’s brothers Nakula and Sahadeva were experts in such astronomical calculations. In the end, The war lasted for about 18 days. And was won by the Pandavas. The eldest of Pandavas, Yudhishthira was made a king of Hastinapur.
