Anecdote

I don't think I've told this on Tumblr before, so here goes.  The only Daily Show taping I've been to was back in August '05, in the previous studio, and right before TCR, when Stephen was still a correspondent.  I remember very little about the pre-show Q&A with Jon, but one part sticks out in my mind. 

An audience member asked Jon how he was able to cope with the obvious sexual tension, night after night, with Colbert. 

This was Jon's answer: "Imagine coming in to work every day and having to sit next to the biggest, juiciest hamburger you've ever seen... [dramatic pause]... now imagine fucking that hamburger."
