Determined was a word that described Sehun perfectly when he wanted something. He would go to any means to get what he wanted, and that much, everyone around him knew. It was a good thing that he rarely ever needed things from the people around him, he decided, because being determined was often physically exhausting. Sehun had been watching Sulli from afar for at least ten minutes then, his arms crossed over his chest.
The common room wasn’t a place Sehun visited often, but he was getting desperate. He wanted information, and he knew the best place to get that was from the self-designated record keeper. The one that kept tabs on every little happening around campus.
The last time he and the girl had interacted, he’d told himself that he never wanted to speak to her ever again and that day he was positive he was going to eat his words, and for that he felt a surge of irritation flow through him.
When the last of Sulli’s followers finally left her table, he sighed and sauntered over to where she’d been sitting, taking a hold of her wrist and pulling her to her feet.
He didn’t speak, not uttering a single word as he tightened his grip on her wrist and began walking in a path that led from the common room to a long corridor. In no longer than a minute, they reached his destination, his other hand fishing through the pocket of his pants for a key.
He pulled it out, eventually, and used it to open one of the last doors in the corridor and slip inside. In a swift movement he tugged the girl inside, grabbed the door by the handle and brought it shut.
“I want something–” He spoke, his voice bouncing off the walls of the enclosed space. He brought the key into its hole and turned it around a couple of times, successfully locking the door, before turning around and slipping it into his back pocket.
The room was small, he realized– smaller than he would have liked. There was a small window near the ceiling, and through it there was just enough sunlight seeping through to keep the room in dim lighting without the need for electricity.

”There are no raindrops on roses and girls in white dresses.”
Staring out over the patch of flowers, surprisingly miserable looking for the middle of the summer, he sighed, feeling the soft patter of rain against his head. Sometimes Sulli said the strangest, though prettiest soundings things. They never failed to catch his attention, however he didn’t look over at her, simply keeping his eyes trained on the way a tiny daisy vibrated every time a particularly heavy raindrop landed on its petals, gently swaying in the light breeze.
“It’s a shame, I think that’d be rather pretty - don’t you?” His voice was light, though the usual deep tone held strong. He pictured it, velvety white rose petals glowing in a gentle sunlight, the light breeze remaining, minus the biting chill to it. The image of Sulli in a white dress, wandering through the flowers flit through his mind. She’d look pretty in white, with her red lips and dark hair.
“Maybe I’ll plant roses and you can wear a white dress. Then we just need to wait for the rain.” Joking lightly he turned his head to finally let his eyes fall on the shorter girl, a humorous smile fixed on his lips.
"So brave. So gallant. So pointless." + "Maybe we met for a reason. Maybe something good happened from us being together." + "Wouldn't be the first flying monkey I've dated."
"So brave. Sogallant. So pointless."
The boystood in the middle of the supermarket, with a small candy bar in hand – onethat Sulli had been trying (and failing) to reach. He wore an irritatedexpression, the tip of his nose scrunching up at her rather unneeded comment.
“Pointless?”He scoffed, using his free hand to run a hand through his dark brown locks.“Yeah, okay.”
A shortsilence followed, and Sehun used it to his advantage, grabbing the girl by thewrist and quickly dropping the sugary confection in the center of her palm.
“I’llremember that the next time you need my help, midget.”
"Maybe we met for areason. Maybe something good happened from us being together."
It was anice day out, and for the first time, Sehun felt glad Sulli had decided to draghim out to have lunch. It wasn’t something he very admittedly enjoyed doing –not when her little fans were waiting for the smallest chance to squeeze in andgrab the girl’s attention – but that day in specific, he felt at peace.
Hetwirled the plastic fork around with his slim digits, slowly chewing on a pieceof chicken in his mouth. Once swallowed, he took it upon him to nod at leastonce or twice before responding.
“Maybe.”
"Wouldn't be thefirst flying monkey I've dated."
Sehun’seyes widened, and instantly, he felt undesired warmth spread across his palecheeks. Whilst Sulli was standing there dressed in shorts and a light cashmeresweater (something very casual), he was standing dressed in a white button-upand dress pants.
He felt overdessed. Very, very overdressed.
“Thisisn’t a date.” He mumbled, crossing his arms over his chest (quite stubbornly, might I add).
