Homicidal Liu headcanons

Liu is the human re-creation of what those sour patch kids are in their commercial.

he has a raspy voice, and talks in very low tones, like he’s whispering. This is because his throat consistently hurts when he talks because of Jeff cutting it up. They hurt when they get suddenly bumped, so he wears his scarf to protect them.

him and Sully fight often.

as you may know if you follow my Ask Homicidal Liu blog, Sully once tried to trade Jeff’s life for a Twix bar. Liu stopped him.

Sully’s a total drama queen. Like, legitimately textbook definition. 💅💅✨material gurl💅✨💅✨

he doesn’t like Jeff, but he doesn’t hate him either. He just wants to find him, talk to him, and understand why he did what he did.

(Warning child 4buse mentions) jeff has religious trauma because his parents were super strict on “either you’re religious or you’re going to hell”. They meant well, but they ended up doing a lot more harm than good. This, eventually, pushed Jeff over the edge. His parents used to use Christianity as an excuse to physically 4buse him, and Liu never found out. (No hate to religious ppl btw, most of them are great, there’s just a few bad apples on every tree, you know? Goes for everything, sadly.)

liu is very Christian, but he respects other beliefs. Since his beliefs have ties in s3x and marriage tho, he only dates other Christian people, or at least people willing to have no s3x before marriage and stuff. He prefers Christian people though, he just feels safer and more accepted.

I changed my mind from my last post on Liu like last night when I say EJ x Liu, he’s bisexual he just mainly leans towards women. He has a crush on EJ change my mind lol:)

(tw eating disorder) he has anorexia. EJ, his best friend, is the only one who knows and tries his best to support Liu.

So. Interesting fact about Liu.

He loves tickling, whether he's receiving it or giving it. And he couldn't care less who knows.

In fact, he is often the initiator of some eventful happenings when he's feeling cheeky or bored. Yes, Jeff is a usual target of his. Next in line would probably be Cody, cause he gets so giggly.

If he's in a 'ler mood, he'll size up the one closest to him and have a mental debate: how much will they fight back? Will he definitely gain an injury or two if he pounces? Do they enjoy it?

Ones like Masky, Hoody, and Jason are off-limits for obvious reasons. He wants to have a good time, not sign his death warrant.

Even Clockwork is pushing it, but he enjoys hearing her snort so it's usually worth the busted lip he gets in return.

It isn't uncommon for Liu to just start an entire war among the Manor's residents, and he relishes doing so. It's so fun and lively compared to the sinister life he - and everyone else there, for that matter - leads, and he tries to introduce some cheer for his housemates, especially when they seem upset.

Liu is the kind of 'lee that doesn't fight back, he simply lays down and takes it (that goes double if he knows he deserves it). Sometimes he'll cover his face with his arms/hands, and you can guarantee he'll wriggle around like a worm, but he doesn't get violent.

He's also a very nice 'ler and won't take it too far. If you look like you're uncomfortable or too tired or struggling to breathe, he will stop without hesitance, help you up, and offer you a drink.

Sully

Liu's alter, however, is a much different story.

Unless he's just trying to be annoying, he won't mess with you unless you manage to press his buttons.

Then? Well, you better pray that he's feeling generous and gives you mercy, otherwise, you're going down.

When he decides to wreck you, he has a purpose, and will get as rough as he feels the need to. No amount of begging will deter him.

Maybe, if you start wheezing, he'll let you catch your breath for a moment before he continues his onslaught of brutal tickles. 

If you ever get the jump on him, he'll collapse, lightly pushing against you to give the illusion that he's trying to make you stop.

He'd never admit it, but he enjoys being tickled, and puts up a minimal fight - but only if he's in the mood. If he isn't, he'll hold back his laughter, grab your wrists, and throw you off with little effort.

You want the spot that'll send him through the roof, aim for his sides - they are amazingly sensitive. 

You're pretty much the only person he engages with in such a fashion, if you exclude Sally. Consider it a perk, because Sully isn't a "people" person, and seldom interacts with others outside of his actual duties.

Sully is a very hardened individual, so it took a while for him to even realize that he had feelings for you.

Not to even mention how long it was before he accepted it and confessed to you. This happened because you were doing something a bit reckless (climbing a rotten-looking tree to get the frisbee that you had accidentally thrown into it), then proceeded to fall from a broken limb and landed on your butt rather painfully.

Sully was nearby and saw the whole ordeal, and rushed to your side, wanting to make sure you were okay, and when he got that confirmation, he shook your shoulders and frantically spoke.

"You idiot! You absolute fucking idiot! Do you wanna die, huh? Do you wanna fucking die?? Are you seriously gonna make me fall in love with you and then kill yourself?! Don't you fucking dare do that again! I cannot lose you, do you hear me??"

You blinked, dumbfounded, and opened your mouth to respond, only to be cut off.

"No, shut up! You don't get to talk. Just shut the hell up." He pulled you into him and buried his face in the crook of your neck, squeezing you so hard you could barely breathe. "You're such a dumbass."

In case it wasn't obvious already, he is terrified of losing you. The thought sends him into a panic and he tends to overreact if he thinks you're in any danger.

Don't take his mean words to heart; he just doesn't know how else to express himself.

Your sweet and soft-spoken nature is part of what lured him in and makes him feel protective over you. Especially considering how much of a daredevil you are - you are most definitely one for taking risks, which is something that greatly contrasts with Sully's cautious nature.

Sully is bipolar, so there are many different ways he could react to a situation. More often than not, however, he responds with anger and fear.

If he's in one of his worse moods, he can be talked down eventually with caring, reassuring words, and once he stops throwing things and yelling, he will collapse into your arms and silently cry.

Sully is a tender-hearted guy if you can just get him to be vulnerable around you. That was no easy feat, but once you did, he mentally vowed to protect you no matter what.

As much as he himself is afraid to die, it's nothing compared to the fear he feels if he thinks you're unsafe. He's a big worrywart when it comes to things like that.

He holds onto your relationship like life support and sees you as an angel; you brought light into his dull, pathetic existence, and he couldn't be more grateful to you for that. He knows that he can't provide the amount of emotional support that you provide for him, but he really does try.

You're the only one that he'll be soft around, and if he ever realized you were upset or scared or anything, he'd do his best to make you feel better. Whether that involved listening to you vent, being there with you while you cried, or cheering you up, rest assured he'd at least try.

Despite his harsh exterior, he wants you to know what you mean to him. He does this with simple gestures; he'll rest his hand on the top of your head for a moment while passing you by, he'll send little winks your way from across a room, or he'll sneak candy bars beneath your door when you're asleep so you'll wake up and have a snack (if you don't like candy bars then insert something else edible, small and flat lol).

His nicknames for you are pretty short yet creative, and it's like he comes up with a new one almost every time you see each other. "Chipmunk", "Venus", and "Sapphire" are among your personal favorites, though ones like "Rapunzel", "Marshmallow", and "Destiny" sure do stick with you.

One of Sully's favorite activities to do with you is watching nature documentaries and expressing his fascination with various animals and locations. He'll happily binge your favorite show together and even make popcorn and hot chocolate.

He hates it when you guys fight, but sometimes he just gets so steamed about things and what you both need is to spend some time apart, let yourselves cool down, then tackle the problem maturely without any screaming, blaming, and breaking things. When you guys resolve whatever issue it was and make up, you'll fall asleep tangled in his arms, and he'll mutter, "I missed you" as he strokes your hair, knowing you can't hear him.

Definitely a bit aggressive with how he holds himself but he's just scared and insecure. He requires patience and unrelenting kindness, which is why you are a perfect match for him.

Note: I mentioned in my previous Liu\Sully headcanons that Sully was created shortly after Jeff tried to kill Liu because that was what everyone else was doing and I wasn't being very imaginative lmao. This is not the case anymore, as I have made my own backstory for the brothers, and that doesn't go with it at all. So my canon version of Sully, Liu, and Jeff is a lot different from what they were originally.

Sully Headcanons

Sully likes to act like he doesn't care about anyone or anything; he puts up a tough exterior to mask what he really feels because he's insecure. He sees being vulnerable in front of others as being "weak", so he doesn't do it. Like at all.

He was made as a coping mechanism for Liu after his best friend died, very tragically, and because of that, he's hardened and fights to not grow emotionally attached to anyone because he's afraid of death. Both Liu and Sully are, actually. It's their biggest fear, though for different reasons.

He doesn't hate Jeff, but he likes to pretend he does. If it came down to it, he wouldn't hesitate to put his life on the line for him.

Sully is 24 years old, while Liu himself is just 19.

He's what you would call a "protector" alter, and that basically means that he tends to surface whenever Liu is in a dangerous\stressful situation and can't handle it himself. Although he isn't limited to this; they can switch whenever they feel the need to, though Liu is the host so he is the one present most often.

Sometimes Sully can be in control for days, even weeks, at a time, but it's kind of rare.

When they switch, they're always left with a form of amnesia, and they can't remember what the other was doing while they were in control. Because of this, they communicate with a voice recorder and document their activities and daily happenings so they can listen back and be filled in when the other surfaces.

It sounds confusing but it really isn't.

Sully describes himself as having black hair, red highlights, and mocha brown eyes. He speaks with a thick Brooklyn accent, despite Liu growing up in Connecticut.

One of Sully's favorite hobbies is writing, believe it or not. He loves poetry and regularly writes and reads it. He also enjoys collecting rocks, or more specifically, geodes. He has a shelf in their room dedicated to this very thing.

He's one of the strongest ones in the Manor, meaning people depend on him to get physically demanding things done, like chopping down trees to use as firewood, hauling heavy things back and forth, etc.

His favorite animal is a snake. He admires them because not only do they look cool, but they're just interesting creatures. He binges documentaries a lot.
