Hello!!! I would like to request one a match up please.
I don’t have any gender preferences
!!I would like for it to be platonic!!
My hobbies include : Playing the violin, art, photography, playing board games, and volleyball.
My personality : Ambivert, Smart (all As), Passionate, Loyal, Kinda Quiet, and Random. I tend to be quiet around people that I’ve just met treating them with respect, but after a while I start to open up and talk more openly. I actually enjoy small talk, and learning about new things. I am also very very forgetful. I also love fruit.
Some of my strengths are a positive attitude, having good communication, and my smarts. Some of my weaknesses are my physical strength, (I am physically weak🫠) and if I don’t connect to someone I would rather just not talk to them at all, and sometimes my stand-offish attitude when talking to people I don’t like or have interest in
Extra: My MBTI type is ENFJ. I like to keep my nails long and when they snag or break I’m down the rest of the day. (It’s a sensory thing for me)
!!Please stake your time getting to my request!!
!! Also make sure you drink water, eat, and get some sleep!!
I am so dreadfully sorry it's taken me so long to get to this! I have several other match-ups in my inbox plus a ton of other prompts/requests that have just built over the years despite slowly trying to answer them lol. Life is chaotic and I honestly rarely post on Tumblr nowadays when it doesn't have to do with my fanfic/Quotev blog. So I apologize to you and anyone else I have yet to respond to! Not ignoring y'all, I promise—I'm just very busy and distracted with heaps of other things and it would be stressful and nearly impossible to start posting frequently on here again. I do want to keep doing it periodically, however, so we'll see how that goes.
Whoo, now, with that long-winded paragraph outta the way, I match you with...
As you probably know, Liu is a very laidback, gentle, fun-loving person (very much a contrast to his alter Sully), so I think he would be the perfect person to pull you out of your initial shell. He finds quiet respect endearing and was instantly drawn to you because, unlike so many others in the household, you felt like a regular person thrown into the wolf's den and he wanted to make you feel comfortable.
He, too, enjoys sharing idle chatter about any topic, really, as long as it isn't about the violence he experiences on a practical day-to-day basis. Small talk eases the mood, makes the two of you more comfortable around each other, and subtly cues him into your opinion on various things as well as your personality. He quite likes learning facts about you.
Your friendship is strangely normal amidst both your lifestyles, and that is very alleviating. He likes teasing you about your forgetfulness, but never actually makes fun of you for it or chastises you like some others might—it's simply another aspect of you that he finds entertaining.
Sometimes the two of you will pass each other in the hall and exchange some random tidbit of information you both discovered that day or thought of, because Liu is always down to learn something new, and he also loves watching your eyes light up as you absorb whatever knowledge he imparted on you.
He definitely brings you to his and Jane's friendly chess competitions and gives you the option to join their book club, if you so desire. He just wants you to be a permanent part of his social circle, wants you actively involved in his life, wants you to feel like you have a place to belong.
You love fruit, you say? Occasionally, he'll bring home from a mission whatever fruit he could get his hands on—bananas, strawberries, peaches. Once, he even found a watermelon, and you, he, and Jane lounged outside on a deck playing cards in the summer while eating it.
He actually loves photography, although it isn't a skill or hobby he's really ever been able to indulge. He's always asking you for tips on good cameras or angles or filters, and when he takes a picture on his phone that he's particularly proud of, he will show it to you the moment he gets a chance.
He isn't a very sporty person, but he got Jeff to help him set up a volleyball net in the backyard so you could all versus each other. You always want either Jeff or Sully on your team, because both guys are vicious opponents. Jeff's a hockey player at heart, after all. Aggression is in his blood, and you will definitely be walking away with some bruises, no matter how hard you try to match his energy. Jane can yell at either of them all she wants, but that's never stopped them. Sully might practice more mercy, however.
Liu cares a lot about you and considers you one of his best friends. He would do pretty much anything for you, including having your back when you don't get along with someone else in the Manor (because good heavens, he knows that feeling). You feel like a tether to his old life, and that's a precious thing, so he won't be letting anything happen to you.
