[Video] Sakiyama Tsubasa as Mogami Yuuki in “Secret~Memories From the Forest~”

This is just something I felt like doing to brush up on my translation and subbing skills as it’s been a while since I’ve done any subbing work. And since it kind of turned out okay, I decided to post it for fun xD

This is from part 2 of the Sumabo Movie, with Sakiyama Tsubasa as Mogami Yuuki! :D I did take screenshots from this part in late 2017, and you can find those: HERE This part shows some of Yuuki’s fainthearted and timid side, which is quite adorable to see, even though he tries to stay strong for Hime. Especially when she’s thinking that he’s not reliable (poor boy >.<). But this is one of my many favourite scenes throughout the movie! ♥

I decided to leave it on a cliffhanger so then it doesn’t ruin it for those who haven’t seen it yet, plus it leaves a bit of a mystery to it as well xD Plus if there’s any mistakes, I do apologise for them as some sentences were a bit tricky to translate when there wasn’t much to go off of, and it’s been a while so I’m a bit rusty xD

Sakiyama Tsubasa released his long-awaited solo 1st single "Crescent Moon" on September 12.

The interview which approached each feature of Sakiyama as an artist, actor and on private is delivered at the official WEB media "GINGERweb" from the woman fashion magazine "GINGER"' (Gentosha). 

In Smart Boys, we took a close contact with the photo shoot place! We are delivering the off-shoot report.

I still can't believe my last Tsubasa's birthday post was a year ago lol. And I'm so glad my feelings of admiration towards this man haven't changed. Tsubasa is a talented actor and singer, and an awesome person as well. He can brighten up your days with his beautiful smile and make you laugh with his brilliant boldness.

He has done so much in these four years and deserves all his success. He has grown up and improved a lot as an artist and I'm glad to be part of that progress.

I can say he is reason why I'm still here despite of my issues here and in real life. Thanks to him, I have met wonderful people and I'm always proud to be his fan, to support him in every way I can. I'm also proud to be his same age xD I have so much to thank him...

HAPPY 29TH BIRTHDAY SAKIYAMA TSUBASA!! ♥

Btw, there are still so much good news from this man! His first album and solo live in December and his first main role in a new movie next year, among other things. I will be posting the info these days. I'm so happy we will have a lot of Tsubasa in the future! ^^

PSA: New Subbing Project - Sumabo Movie No. 8 「Secret~Memories From the Forest~」

Yes I know, I have soooo many subbing projects on the go already, why am I taking on another one? xD Allow me to explain! :D

My co-founder (@ishikawadesu) and I will be subbing the Sumabo Movie No. 8   「Secret~Memories From the Forest~」. We decided to do this based on her and I both owning the DVD and it’s something we thought that we could do together as a subbing project of our own :D 

And, I guess for me personally, it also gives me the chance to sub something and test my own skills after working with my other subbing partner Jocelyn, who has taught me a lot of things since working together for the drama FIVE and in our current drama/stage project, Ochanomizu Rock ♥ *bows deeply*

We haven’t fully decided yet, but we might be releasing them as softsubs since my co-founder is already sharing the DVD for each route :) That being said, we will be timing them to the DVD that shows each full route, not the individual parts on the Sumabo app. So we will be subbing all 3 of the boys routes :D

I finally have time to upload my DVD and share it with you. Actually, this was meant to be shared months ago, but I never had the chance to post it. What I'm sharing is the first disc, that is, the three stories with the three boys. I'm not sharing the second disc, you can buy the DVD to watch it ^^

I sincerely apologise for posting this late >.< I know that the goods from both of these events came out in May, but I got more focused on posting other stuff and I forgot *is kicked* I found out around June that they were available as well.

When You Realise Sumabo Made a BIG Mistake!...

So I was just taking a closer look at my DVD, and on the binder part of the DVD, it has “Sumabo Movie Number 7″ or 第7弾 as you can see below. I was a bit confused so I decided to double check my posts and their posts as well along as on their Sumabo app.

THEY PUT THE WRONG NUMBER ON THEIR DVD COVER LMAO! 

If you look at some of my Sumabo posts as well as on Sumabo here & here for example, it says number 8 so I wasn’t wrong. And they have MOST LIKELY been distributing the DVD with that number on it since the release event on March 19th LOL! It even says number 8 on the Sumabo App.

Usually people in Japan don’t tend to make this kind of mistake so I have no idea how that happened. But this has totally made my day xDD

My Oretabi DVDs Arrived!...

*Sorry for the poor quality. I am working on either getting my phone upgraded or investing in a good camera xD

Yeah, so as I explained before, my Oretabi DVDs arrived to me a bit over an hour ago now. I was really excited because I got them, but then that changed and now I feel totally flat. Because someone has just shared their DVDs (Part 1 & 2) which totally threw me off by surprise so I don’t know what I’m feeling right now xD 

Charlie and I were planning on sharing them, but since someone else has, it’s clear that we won’t be. So I have signal boosted their DL post. But if people still want us to share our DVDs, we can gladly do it if it’s requested by a lot of people or if you’d like us to share them. Personal friends are okay to ask for them from me if they want it, but you will have to be a bit patient (^_^;;)b

I got mine through proxy as I wanted to try and get at least 1 signed DVD jacket from ChibaTV Online Shop as there were 10 signed jackets for Part 1 & 2 (20 in total). But my luck with raffles, lotteries, lucky dips, spin the wheels, etc., I have really bad luck with them so I knew I wasn’t going to get one (it’s the same from when I was a kid), but it was worth a shot xD

And my Sumabo DVD arrived with it as well. I was hoping for it to arrive to my proxy on the release date (March 30th), but it arrived to them on the Monday as I wanted to get it shipped out together with my Oretabi DVDs. The cover is so cute and I love the back of the cover as well! As of course, I got my DVD through Sumabo and I can’t wait to watch the movie again as I haven’t watched it in a very long time >//<

I will talk with my co-founder as to how we’ll go with sharing the Sumabo DVD (if we want to share it) since we’re both going to have it :D
