This is the first time that I have actually liked a solo song by him. And I bought it. Sigh.

You bought the song or the lamp?  Because if you bought the lamp, I am totally jealous.  If you bought the song, then I'm happy about that as well, haha.  Simply because Seungri is my fave in BB. ^^

Besides Hyunsoo the rest of the boys do not have a single idea about their future. He knows what he wants and what he wants is a better life for his family. I am on his side too, though I have a feeling that he is going to be made the 'traitor' in the group. Seunghyun is going to use Hyunsoo against Eye Candy but I don't think he can make him hate the rest of the group. The boys are really being inflexible right now which is just going to cause problems for them internally and externally.

I like that Hyun Soo has a huge temper but he can set it aside for his friends. Like when he was so obviously pissed at Ji Hyuk for overshadowing him as a singer/leader in the group but he set it aside for the time being because their friendship was more important. It's def gonna come back up but I think their friendship can withstand the blows that are gonna come when the issue of his ambition hits the fan.

True. The way he decided to drop his 'friends' was not something appreciable. Though, I have a feeling he is going to start playing rough now especially now that he knows Hyunsoo is the weak link. It would be awesome though if HS actually does not listen to him.

Yes! I like that Seung Hoon is a shark about that. It tells me he's really is a smart cookie to be able to suss out the rising tensions in Eye Candy and use it to his advantage.

And I can't wait for those Hyun Soo tensions to start blowing up. But then I'm mostly on Hyun Soo's side on this one. The guys are not taking this seriously and they might lose their chance. Hyun Soo is trying to do this as a career and right now I don't get the feeling that the others are working towards that goal too.

Take the song arrangement issue. They should have bent a little about that. They should have heard what changes the dude wanted to make and then gotten belligerent if they didn't like the new parts. Because Hyun Soo is right. They aren't professional songwriters and while Byung Hee was awesome it wouldn't hurt to get professional insight.

Now changing the name was definitely a bad move. Black Heart is totally not who they are. They are fun, whimsical, and light. Their best image is one of a tight friendship. What part of Black Heart says camaraderie? Even if Eye Candy were to change it should def not be Black Heart. That just makes them sound like they're trying too hard to be a cool edgy emo band. Nothing against emo--I dip into that arena every now and then--but ugh that is not who these guys are. Not their music and not their style.

They just aren't finding a balance between what they need to do and what they want to do as artists. I'm just hoping the band won't be destroyed in the process.

I agree Seunghoon should have ditched PJ right when he witnessed Byunghee's death. I mean if you are not going to reprimand him for that...well then I am not sure really sure there is much to your decision in leaving his band. Though, it's just my opinion. I am glad he is away from PJ but he only chose to do it because he wanted to go against Eye Candy. He did not even ditch him when PJ was a touch to SoAh.

I know. I like him sometimes but other times...

For example his work. I dig it. He's an excellent songwriter, he's generally very professional, he's ambitious and driven. He was very fair play in the beginning too. It's not until his jealousy over Su Ah cropped up that he started being a little unprofessional. Still he's not yet done anything to Eye Candy that was professionally reprehensible to me.

The closest we got was dropping Strawberry Fields but it wasn't really the act of dropping them so much as the way he did it which pushes that more into the personal problems he has. Now those are choices that I want to punch him in the face for.
