Ace accordionist Sumit Mitra remembered Shankar Jaikishen Nite which was held in Ahmedabad.He tells that in those time many Shankar Jaikishan shows were held and a show was arranged by Rajkapoor in Ahmedabad. He was going to the hotel from airport and there was so much crowd from Airport to the route to see Shanker Jaikishen that his driver was amazed and said that this crowd surpassed the number and volume in comparison when Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru had visited Ahmedabad. That was the craze of Shankar Jaikishan.
