fanart summary for this year! now in terms of fanart, i feel like i've done a lot that i'm happy with! i did so many fanart pieces in 2025 that i couldn't even fit all of my favourites here, haha.

In The Wind Rises, Giovanni Caproni says that “artists are only creative for ten years”, and even though only six of them have passed for me so far (or rather, they flew by in the blink of an eye xp), I can understand what Hayao Miyazaki meant by that.

Perhaps the remaining four or five years will be enough for me to finish what I start(ed) in a burst of inspiration, and then I'll have nothing more to say. Perhaps my future family life will drag me down even earlier, despite my still-unquenchable ambitions.

And yet, Miyazaki himself is a proof that we may—and should—create until the very end, as long as we can, for as long as we create, we're alive╰(*´︶`*)╯♡
