It was a bar that she had avoided ever since the last time she had stepped foot into Open Range. She often popped in to see Summer when she had a free evening, but after accidentally being there on karaoke night and the feelings it had stirred up for her on that evening, she hadn't been near the place since. It was irrational really, but she still saw and resented everything she could've had but didn't and it seemed that Open Range, a place she had used to sing at, just brought it all to the surface.
She had asked for Summer when she'd arrived after getting the SOS text from her friend and as she was directed to the area behind the stage, the blonde hurried to find her. As she spotted the familiar face, Maya sighed in relief as she saw that she looked physically unharmed. "Okay, I'm here, what's going on? Are you okay? What's the emergency?"
