In July I hosted a Kamikaze Girls showing. We watched the movie and shared a bunch of snacks. I tried to replicate one of Momoko's coords as best I could.

In September we had a picnic in a garden. I swapped out the ribbon in my 2006 Millefueille JSK to be white and I really like the effect.

In August we visited a travelling Barbie exhibit.

In June we had our annual Rainbow Meetup. It was originally meant to be a picnic, but the weather turned wet so I set up the classroom space for us.

It was quite hot and humid so I opted for a light skirt combo. As you can see my colour was purple (lavender). I even did my fingernails in a fun metallic rainbow glitter effect for the event. It's funny that I'll spend 3 hours doing excruciating nail art but not do makeup. Truth be told it's because makeup doesn't always seem to agree with my skin chemistry.

In July we had a meetup at an ice-cream shoppe. It was very hot so the frozen treats were a must.

These plus-sized blouses from Meta are very flattering and comfortable. The collars don't come so high that I feel like I'm being strangled. The shoulders are very generous, the elastic on the sleeves don't pinch, and since I'm a bit smaller than the minimum measurements (!!!) I don't stretch out the shirring in the back at all.
