Мама подарила сервиз с нежнейшими цветочками. Летом появляется базилик и это значит, что он будет во всех моих блюдах без возражений (。・ω・。)ノ♡
Базилик защитит от негатива, излечит израненную душу и подарит спокойствие.

Summer Kitchen
by Donald Hall
In June's high light she stood at the sink With a glass of wine, And listened for the bobolink, And crushed garlic in late sunshine.
I watched her cooking, from my chair. She pressed her lips Together, reached for kitchenware, And tasted sauce from her fingertips.
"It's ready now. Come on," she said. "You light the candle." We ate, and talked, and went to bed, And slept. It was a miracle.

First of all, Olia Hercules. Find her on IG and follow, because she made me fall further in love with the Ukrainian kitchen and Eastern European cooking in general.
Holubsti. In a tomato sauce (with some dill and full fat sour crème in it) and served with an extra dollop of sour crème and fresh dill. (Dill is life, so it seems)
My first attempt. Rolling a holubsti is a skill and cabbage that is boiled has a lovely pale green colour. Over all, the kitchen has had a busy day. And I still have some left over for tomorrow.
