Just arrived at my gate to get on the plane to RI!!

So excited to announce I will be hopping on a plane saturday to fly to Rhode Island!! So excited for Summer@Brown. I will be updating regularly on my experience.

Summer@Brown fundraiser!

So I have created a gofundme to help raise the rest of the fees to go to Brown University's summer program! My scholarship paid $3380 of the $5300 fee so I still owe about $2000. I come from a single parent home with one income of about $500-$600 a week which is pretty much gone after paying bills and buying groceries for the week, so it is extremely hard to come up with this much money. I have set the goal to $3000 to help pay for transportation to Rhode Island and any other expenses that may come up. Even if you can only donate a little bit I would so so so so appreciate it! so i did summer@brown over the summer and naturally i wanted to buy a sweatshirt from the school that I “went” to... so last night was the first time i ever wore it out and wow!!!!! what an experience 

my friend and I ended up leaving this rlly dumb movie and went to this restaurant nearby (which basically turns into a bar) after dinner hours and 2 min after we sit down a guy shoves his beers towards me and says CHEERS TO BROWN

basically he thought i was in college!!!!! i’m only 16!!!!!!! and i word vomited and said i transferred to a nearby state school from brown and he was like WOW WHY and so this guy ended up being 37!!!!! bc he graduated from brown in 2000!!!!! 

HE HIT ON MEEEEE!!!!

idk how i feel about this but like the guy was nice and not sleazy but still :////

Nat's Egyptian Essay Excitement

*happy jig* oh yeah, guess who gets to write a 2-3 page paper on the inaccuracies in the Mummy about Egyptian Curses and Magic? It's me! Why am I so happy and excited, you may ask? Wonderful question!

I basically get to talk about different types of magic, the Book of the Dead (which I have a copy of in my dorm right now) and have a lot of fun making fun of the Mummy's mistakes. PLUS, I get to do this on something that seriously interests me, Egyptology, which is quickly becoming an interest in a minor or a second major that I'm thinking of doing in college.

AAAANND it helps me plan out my Evie cosplay and lets me stay in the library basement with really old books and have a jolly old time!
