This was for the @summerof85zine last year. It’s taken me forever to come around to posting this for some reason even though I was pretty proud of this piece. A lot of crappy stuff happened to me as soon as I joined in on the project and I was worried I wouldn’t be able to get this done.. anyway everyone involved with the project was really nice despite how shy I am when interacting with others, it was a nice distraction from all the life stuff.

Side note I did this all with gouache paint even though I had only just started using that medium, go big or go home I guess lol

You remember the Harringrove zine we made?

Well this is NOT the piece I made for that zine; it’s a rejected piece - a deleted scene, if you will - and it works well on its own.

(The story, courtesy of @bentnotbroken1fanfiction, is that the lifeguards in town has a charity carwash thing going on, and Robin brings Steve over there to get his car washed. And well. He gets his car washed.)

Billy’s just draping himself over a car, like you DO - and besides, it’s not like Steve’s complaining!
