A bit of. A throwback this week to last summer and our Cornwall road trip. ⁣ This summer may look a little different however some of the best moments from summer last year and our road trip can still happen. ⁣ Those evenings spent splashing in rock pools at the beach. The exploring new places. Geocaching taking us to new places. Sunny days spent by our pool. Bbqs with friends - even if we have to see one group of friends at a time 🤦🏻‍♀️movie afternoons with all the snacks. Fingers crossed the numbers still go down. Fingers crossed for more road trips. ⁣ Fingers crossed these two get along better than they have been. ⁣ ⁣ 2 more days until summer holidays. ⁣ One more day at home school one more day at physical school. ⁣ We’ve got this. I've been looking for a home and I may have found one on Monday. I took a look around for a couple hours and fell in love. It's not in Joshua Tree, but it is in the desert and a bit remote. . In the process of mowing of 3 football fields worth of grass during my recent trip to Colorado, I found an artifact, saw a doe, and learned that bears really do shit in the woods. #summerofadventure (at Saguache, Colorado)

. After an emotionally challenging afternoon with my mother during my trip to Connecticut recently, I took a moment at Enders Island to listen to the water and gather my thoughts. . Afterwards I enjoyed some time with a couple of fabulous women first over food and craft beers at Jealous Monk and later over live music by The Fake Experience at PIZZETTA including Alisa Lyons Bradley doing her thing with the microphone! . The next day, I wrapped up my east coast tour with a grinder from Angie's Pizza & Pier 27 Lounge, and a visit with my cousin Chris, during which we bought tourist t-shirts, drove by Taylor Swift's compound, and gorged ourselves on east coast Chinese food at Lucky House Restaurant (RI). I can't wait to do it all again when I return for an extended stay in Maine/NYC in late August/September! #summerofadventure #lifeisshort #carpediem
