Preston had been contemplating his purchase for the last half hour. He had 1,500 dollars in his wallet and it wasn't short-winded. He'd spent the past two months working in the cafeteria of Antioch's hospital in order to earn the cash, and he wasn't so sure he wanted to spend it all on a new telescope. Testing out the view of a candidate, he saw a vivid picture of the most popular girl in school, Annie Wright, darting through fellow shoppers in the Cool Springs Mall. There were tears in her eyes. She was mumbling something to herself and she looked distraught. Unable to keep his curiosity at bay, he followed her as she walked to Radio Shack and spoke to an employee. Approaching just in time to hear the end of her pitch for a new camera, he got an idea. Smirking, he walked up to her as the employee walked away and pulled the money out of his wallet. "I wanna rent you.."
