Rating: 4/5 stars
an entertaining and compulsive read, would recommend for a fun time
The Midnight Feast by Lucy Foley

a slow read with a lot of buildup but a bland ending

need to suspend your belief for this one from what twists this takes
Horror Movie by Paul Tremblay

🎃 Summerween Update #1 🎃
So it's the end of day 3 of the readathon and I've just finished my third book which is great but work starts tomorrow so I don't think I'll be able to read much during the week. Here's what I've read so far:
City of Ghosts by Victoria Schwab: this was such a pleasant surprise and had the perfect spooky vibes - 4/5 stars
Tunnel of Bones by Victoria Schwab: I had to continue with the series and I loved this one even more - 4.5/5 stars
Survive the Night by Riley Sager: it was pretty average and I was kinda disappointed by this one - 3/5 stars
Will definitely continue with the Cassidy Blake series because I'm loving it so much and pick up Bridge of Souls next! 💀
🦇 Summerween Readathon 🦇
A very spooky readathon starts tomorrow (2nd July) and I'm so excited because I love thrillers and this is the perfect readathon for me! ☀️🎃☀️
Hosted by gabbyreads and oliviareadsalatte it's a fun time to read spooky books in the summer and get those vibes, ya know 💀
No set TBR for me because I never follow them but some books that I'm really excited to get to are City of Ghosts by Victoria Schwab, The Maidens by Alex Michaelides, and Survive the Night by Riley Sager!
