While its harsh climate has prevented large scale habitation so far, this planet is a favorite hideout of pirates, smugglers, and other ne'er-do-wells. Abandoned colonies have been turned into bases for massive criminal enterprises that extend across the system. The ones that were able to survive the hurricanes became vast empires, with entire planets in some systems falling to their rule. The VAF maintains a presence in the orbit of this planet, but they can do little to stop the illegal technology of the crime bosses. Summon Bostic, the largest criminal faction on the planet, has branches and members across the cluster, and the leaders have massive prices on their heads.
