“....Ugh.....” Her head was pounding as she felt someone shaking her; where was she...? Actually, she couldn’t quite remember who she was in the jumbled mess her mind was at the moment.
“The ritual actually worked? Ahem.....Oh, Great Hero from another world! Thou has come to fulfill your role in our legen-”
“Ugh.....Quiet it down, redhead; I got a killer headache......” She just stared at the person who was talking to her, rubbing her aching head and blinking to try to focus her vision. “Hey......Whose the dude with the axe?”
“FOUND YOU!” The Axe Fighter shouted, starting to dash towards the two redheads, with the one the summoner would know as Anna pulling her out of the way of an attack.
After a quick battle, and an introduction from Anna about the world she got dragged into, the commander posed a good question.
“What is your name anyways? All the legends didn’t have your name, just the name of a stone; Lapis Lazuil to be exact.”
“Um......” The summoner had to blink and actually think on that, but couldn’t think of much. “.....Um.......Hecate? Hecatia? Um........Let’s just go with Heca, actually.....”
“Well, nice to meet you, Summoner Heca. I summoned you here with the divine weapon Breidablik. That's the name of this relic I've brought. It fires something out of it, according to legend, but Breidablik doesn't look like any bow I've ever seen. The legend also calls it ‘the tr-”
“Holy shit, is that a gun? Gimme; I know how to use that I think!” Heca swipes the Breidablik, before starting to mess with it.
“.....Excuse me, how do you know how to use it, you’re a Manakete.”
“Mana-what? Just trust m-.....There’s more of those soldiers, might want to deal with those.”
“Drat. More of those Emblian soldiers. I can't defeat them all by myself, and you're not equipped to help me. You run while I hold them off. Take Breidablik and get out of here, Summoner!”
“Wait, this is a gun! I can fight!” Cue Heca to aim the summon-gun right at the Axe Fighter and pull the trigger; and then getting confused at the sudden flash of light and the sound of something heavy impacting the Fighter. “...Huh...?”
And once she could see, she could see the Axe Fighter knocked out, with a hooded man collapsed on top of them, groaning from the force of the impact. “...Where am I....?”
“........Ok, don’t aim it at enemies, aim it away to summon friends.” Heca mumbled, while Anna went to check on the hooded man.
“Summoner! You just summoned a Hero! .....I think.”
“Well, he did just fine defeating that Axe Fighter!”
“That’s because you shot him close range towards them.....”
“Oh, let me check him; hey! Get up; you are burning daylight!” Cue Heca to drag the hooded man off of the Axe Fighter, and then just getting him into a sitting position. “Anna, where is your Order of Heroes at? I think this man might of broke something, or at least it will be easier to talk there.”
“Of course, Summoner.... Follow me.” Anna seemed uncertain if this was the best idea, but leading the way to the Order of Heroes anyways, Heca following.
“My name....is Anankos....”
“Then come on, Anankos; we’ll talk more at their base, once they are done bothering me.”
After what felt like a very long series of introductions, complete with showing that she can in fact summon more Heroes, in the form of Matthew, Virion, and a golden haired princess who introduced herself as Crescent despite the Askians calling her ‘Corrin’, Heca was on the search for that mystery hooded man from her first summon.
“Hey! Come out! This isn’t even the wing you are meant to be in, it’s supposed to be mine!”
“There you are! Get out from there!” Cue Heca to have to drag this man out from behind a stack of crates, the man struggling to get free.
“Let go of me! I don’t deserve to be a Hero! I’m not safe to be arou-”
“Calm down; sit on one of the crates and explain to me who you are, and I’ll make that choice.”
After what felt like a good hour spent listening to Anankos explain himself, Heca just nodding along with the story, the summoner just sighed.
“Well.....I won’t force you, but.....if you are dead, and I summoned you, I think you might be stuck with this as where you must remain. Make the best of it I guess.”
“What?! I don’t deserve this fate; I did so many bad things....”
“Hey, make your second chance worth it, don’t waste it like this!”
“.....You can stay here in this wing, if you truly desire to hide.”
“Yes, but I must ask for something in return.”
“You must allow me to talk to you freely; I promise I will let no one know that you are here, or hear our words to each other, but I want to at least be able to learn more about your world; and maybe I can get you to be of some use in battle after all.”
“Don’t count on it.....but of course, you may speak to me, so long as you let no one else know I’m here.”
“Alright, it’s a deal; no complaining if you get lonely though. Now.....Can you help me with some words I don’t understand; you seem pretty smart, so maybe you know what they mean. Let’s start with Manakete....”
