How To Bless or Cleanse Using The Sun
Best done at OUTSIDE right after sun rise or at noon when the moon is in Leo
Optional: Casting a circle, but not really necessary
Items needed:
White silk cloth
Two sticks of rain incense
Sand/dirt or Salt
One flower (Plants/Flowers, to me, have the closest relationship to the sun since their source of nutrition is the Sun itself and could act as a great channel between you and the sun)
An orange (Why an orange? Because oranges can clean freaking anything. Also, if blessing, it serves as a nice treat to you and the Sun that you can share together as a way to give thanks)
Optional: Offering bowl and cup of water
Instructions:
Wrap item in white silk cloth
Form a triangle using the two sticks of incense and the item wrapped in silk
Make sure triangle is pointing towards the East
Place the orange and the flower on either side of the item (item sill in the middle, of course)
Take sand, dirt, or salt and draw a nice sized sun around the incense, item, and orange + flower.
Light the incense and say the following (optional):
Sun so bright, you clear our skies for us to see with sparkling eyes. Sun so kind, you keep us warm, and dry us aft of squally storm. Sun of power, driving flora – food of life for grateful fauna. Sun of beauty: paint our morn to mesmerize with blushing dawn. Sun mystique: electrify our lofty sky for Northern Lights to beautify. Sun of calm: give hazy days to doze in shade of lazy rays. O Sun, you mighty Sun! fire your furnace just for me – Those flames of giants must always be! And awesome though you truly are, I pray, remain our blessed star!

7. Bask in the suns ray for a moment or two. It is up to you if you’d like to leave the item out for the rest of the day or put it away after the incense goes out.

Thoughts? Comments? Criticism? This is honestly the first 'spell' I've made up aside from my own way of casting a circle. But yeah, you really don't need to cast a circle for this since it's not really a spell.
