hi helen! for the ask game... venus and mercury for whoever is speaking to u with these questions (although i would be curious to hear about sun glitter and starkissed <3)

venus ノ when did you and your f/o realise you had fallen for each other? did it take anyone else to help you guys realise?

similar to caleb, mc has a lot to do with xavier & i realizing our feelings for each other. as hunters, we knew of each other but had never even spoken to each other before meeting through mc. i always had a little bit of a work crush on xavier. it was never anything serious; more admiration & respect for him than anything. after mc introduces us & my crush on him becomes serious, i panic. i’ve always been shy around him especially since he’s so hard for me to read & i think he feels nothing for me (untrue but idk that yet). idk how he develops feelings for me but he’s just as surprised as i am when he realizes them. i think it hits him when mc & i approach him at hq one day & he realizes that over time, it’s me he’s come to look forward to seeing

mercury ノ are there any little habits your f/o does that you pick up on & vice versa?

i mellow sanji out a lot. even before we’re together, we engage in a lot of parallel play. the silence could go on forever while we focus on doing our own things & it still feels like quality time spent because we were together. on the other hand, sanji inspires me to be more passionate & to go after what i want (him) i also grow more bold with him the longer we’re together & it’s nice to see him on the receiving side for once
