The older of the last set of kids born before the family reunion, and the only set of identical twins that Xiuying and Qiuyue had, Jidu was carried by Qiuyue with Luohou.

He is a cheeky little trickster and good at it. He causes trouble for fun and loves to mess with people, he saw his big sis being a little shit and was like “monkey see monkey do ¯\_(ツ)_/¯”.
He's really good at getting away with stuff, and better at not getting caught, he's a good liar, not a perfect one, but he just talks so fast that people just end up agreeing with whatever he said, he bugs bunny’s people all the damn time.
He's a chaotic trickster, it always sounds like he's telling a joke, but fuck with his family and you won't be laughing. Honestly if he wasn't a good person he could totally be a supervillain.
With the insights he gets from Luohou, he can rip any self-important asshole a new one and has no fear of consequences.
His jiě jie is big in politics and can bail him out of whatever trouble he gets himself into, and it annoys Xiangliu to constantly deal with his bullshit. It's the little things in life.
He's also extremely petty, and by the gods, you will feel the consequences. He holds a grudge long and hard, to the point it surprises even his family, who are not strangers to a bit of grudge holding.
His pettiness is expressed towards his family in much less harmful ways, he gets back at his siblings in silly ways, but never seeks to actually do any damage to them.
Luzhen would never let him live it down if he did.
He is very protective of his baby sisters, Tao and Lizi, and serves as an unofficial bouncer/bodyguard for them at their shows, they are young and pretty, and he’s dealt with the Snake Boi first hand, not a chance is anyone messing with them. He is not the strongest, physically or magically, he knows that his skills lay in deception and trickery, and he's very good at weaponizing them.
It's called ✨coping✨ He's a trickster who can psychologically wreck you.
