Sun Scream - Sun Scream
Debut track from Psychedelic Noise Pop outfit Sun Scream. Hailing from Bury St Edmunds, and planning to take their own brand of Pysch with them, wherever they may go.
The song has little meaning, only 7 words and 8 syllables make up the song- it is an effort to describe what is essentially an instrumental as a song. It was one of the first songs we ever wrote and we were so satisfied with how it sounded, manipulating it into a classic songwriting formula felt wrong. We love it as a track and always play ii live. It is certainly one of the more psychy and shoegaze tracks on our setlist and recently been a superb closer.
Oh my god. Thurop was a head writer on Sun Scream... the most painfully infamous PPG episode (of the original series)...
Somehow that makes total sense with the amount of gross close-ups in it.
