Please tell me more about your idol Ocs!!

of course!! I'm gonna use this as an info dump space lol. I'll give you backstory and personality for both of them! (I'll put backstory under the read more though because this got LONG)

Personalities:

Hali:

She's a bit silly!! Like she's a tall woman with a super monotone voice and looks like she can kick your ass, but she's got a fun sense of humor and is often just giggling a lot

However she does have her off days because of the sanitization- she could go for hours standing in a room staring at nothing

She's very clumsy, often trips over herself on stage (Star often purposefully does something more embarrassing to take eyes off Hali when that happens)

Since she's only pretty recently moved to Splatsville, she loves to people watch and just stand outside

Also I'm making her an artist. I think she'd like painting

Star:

On stage she puts up a persona of being super carefree, bubbly, and outgoing, but she's a bit of an introvert with quite a bit of anxieties

However she is super excitable and can talk a LOT

She's super opinionated and will argue over the dumbest things without letting up

She's basically just got a really extreme personality. Every emotion is felt at 110% with her

Their Relationship:

I mean duh they're girlfriends

Star will just be talking on and on and ON and Hali will be smiling and listening the whole time

Hali's the one who wanted to make the group, and it took some convincing to get Star on board. But at this point, Star's come to enjoy performing almost more than Hali!

They both do pretty much equal amounts of songwriting together. Hali takes most of the vocals and plays piano, with Star on vocals sometimes as well as doing most of the other instruments

Backstories:

Hali:

Hali grew up in the Octarian domes, heard the inkantion and all that

She was part of the Octarian army, but she was like. extremely bad at her job

As she was escaping she somehow stumbled upon the Undersea Metro- she managed to escape but was half sanitized in the process

Because of the sanitization, her voice changed and it makes for a really cool effect in her music (if you look up sanitized octoling voices it would kinda sound like that)

After escaping, she ended up in Splatsville, where she met Star! They met on a beach outside the city

Star:

Star grew up on the streets of Splatsville. She was very poor and had a rough upbringing. She was the youngest of three other siblings

She's been musically inclined her whole life, and learned many instruments- she's practically a one man band. She used her talent to earn some money by street performing

One day was particularly rough for her, so she went to the beach to sit there and clear her mind. But then she saw Hali, who looked extremely lost and like she needed help. She immediately felt a connection to Hali, and they've been by each other's sides ever since
