⤷ BLUE HAIR

In which Felix braids Karlos’s hair.

I do warn it might be ooc, I do not write often so i apologize in advance.

“Are you always awkward?” Felix’s voice cuts the silence between the two as his fingers brushed through Karlos’s dyed hair as if he was combing his hair with his hands.

“No, I’m not used to someone else besides myself touching my hair, let alone braiding it.” He replies back, it wasn’t rude but rather genuine. Part of him feels vulnerable for letting someone else other than himself touch his hair. It felt like a form of weakness which he despises. A real man like him shouldn’t feel weak from this gesture, but the other half of him enjoys it. It’s something Karlos himself will never admit out loud.

“Have you ever had your hair cut short?” Felix continues to make Karlos’s hair into a braid, “Once, but it did not look good on me so I let it grow out and cut it medium length. I don’t think about what I’ll look like if my hair was very short.” Karlos admits, feeling himself form a small smile from the interaction. Felix grins, “I think you look better with long hair, I cannot ever imagine you with short hair.”

Karlos became silent as he heard Felix’s words. He should accept the compliment, but his words struck something inside him. A weird feeling when someone’s heart is beating or butterflies inside the stomach.

‘That is pathetic’ he thinks to himself and brushes it off. While he’s in his deep thoughts, Felix finishes the last touches of Karlos’s hair before using a rubber band to hold it together. “There, do you like it?” He asks Karlos as he waits for his response. As he stares at Karlos’s face, he notices little things on his face.

Without too much hair covering Karlos, his jawline is more visible in someone’s vision. The more he stares, the more he sees how different Karlos is without the firmness and sternness.

The butterflies are forming again, but this time it’s Felix who’s feeling it.

“I do,” Karlos answers, “Shall we go on and cook? I believe you said I get to pick what we make this time.” He gives a small smile to Felix, in which he smiles back.

“Ja.”
