Sunday Session:
Rooks Have A Problem
I really sat down thinking about all the rooks I’ve made and said damn. What if they could talk to me? They all would have some issues with me. And this is the result of that thought. Happy Sunday everyone.
Grey sat at the top of the circle, his hands in his lap interlocked, next to him sat Lucas, a broody and very grumpy elf who really got dragged into this by Grey. Then there was Keir, demon possessed grey warden with a lot of issues and modern taglines. Scarlet, twirling her knife bored as always because she hasn’t gotten to stab something in less than 24 hours, Liana who’s the second most sound in the group behind grey, and Stein who is canonically dead but whatever. These are carys most active rooks and they have one big problem.
“Stop making rooks.” Grey looked at Cary, tired to a chair mind you, how rude.
“Look, if I could I would but I won’t. It just happens and then you all kinda just get here.” Cary shrugged, trying to pull their arms out the chair, “This actually kinda hurts.”
Liana, sweetest of the bunch and one of my favorites, loosens the rope, “Well, they aren’t a monster, I don’t think it’s fair to tie them up.”
Lucas furrowed a brow, “we don’t exactly know how they work. And they gave us pretty shitty lives.”
“No kidding.” Scarlet scoffed, “Can’t we just, I don’t know, stab them? Call it a day, that will stop them no?”
“I could always use blood magic.” Stein offered
“No one is doing that.” Grey rolled his eyes, how did he get lumped in with all the crazy.
“I’m a Barbie girl, in a Barbie world.” Keir? He was just having a good time in his own world
“What’s that guy even on about?!” Lucas was about to lose his fucking mind
“First off, As easily as I wrote you all into existence I can take it away, and scarlet you are having a good time, don’t make me fuck it up. Stein, you are dead don’t talk.” Cary pointed to the both of them
“But you’re writing-“
“Ah ah, that’s classified.”
“This isn’t about any of that, please we have bigger issues.” Grey sighed, rubbing his face with his hands, “look you have too many of us that either haven’t gotten the spotlight in a while or are severely lacking.”
Scarlet pointed to a box of the unfinished rooks, nift giving a wave. “Nift isn’t done, The Warden twins are barely getting a backstory and Salem-“
“Hey! Salem was born before all of you existed, give my girl a break I wrote a shit ton for her!” Cary exclaimed
Liana twiddled her thumbs, “I’d hate to be that person but Salem hasn’t had content in like half a year. And you pretty much discontinued my story.”
“You have Mirassan!”
“Which you also havent-“
“That’s classified.” Cary crossed her arms pouting, “I’m not stopping so what do you guys want from me.”
“I get more than enough content. This isn’t my complaint.” Lucas crossed his arms matching Cary’s pout
“We just want for you to put a little light on some forgotten ones.” Grey sighed
“You are also popular. Look at greys tea time!”
“I didn’t consent to my face photoshopped.”
“You don’t need to consent! I created you!”
“Photoshopped.”
“How do you even know what that is!”
Keir laughed wickedly, “why don’t you just make this a thing? Have a little bit of conversation with us and we can showcase ourselves.”
They all looked at Keir dumbfounded.
“What? It was obsessions idea.” Keir shrugged
“I hate that a good idea came from you.” Stein cringed looking at the abomination
“Alright! Alright. It can be like a Sunday Session with Rooks. Is that okay with you?” Cary sighed
Grey nodded his head, finally reaching some agreement with everyone and no one protested to the idea.
“Then Sunday sessions!” Cary clapped their hands together and grabbed Lucas’ ear, “come on, I need to put you in more content.”
“I still think we should have stabbed them.” Scarlet pouted
So yes guys this still start being a thing on Sundays where I will pretty much spotlight some rooks and have silly little conversations with them. I have so many of them that I’m sure this will be quite an interesting ride. This was just an introduction piece to them and the general vibe it’ll be. I hope you all enjoy my silly little thought and the fun rooks that come with them.
