And now for something entirely niche here on tumblr dot com - bracelets made after the kirbyverse fan animation series, Spirits Excel! My sibling wanted some bracelets based on her favorite characters - and after being introduced to the series I did too! So above are the bracelets I made for her, and below are the two I've made for myself so far
I'm hoping to make more for this series - bracelets, or art in general - because it's severely unknown around these parts and I'd like to see that change. Here's hoping I can help contribute to the very lonely fandom tag more going forward!
I had to create a Sims 3 version of @arogaba ‘s Lacelot design ♥ The yearning got a little out of hand but that’s what they do XD Probably got in a LOT of trouble too heh..
So @berrysweetboutique mentioned possible past incarnations for Lacelot in a recent post and it got me thinking of a regency era-ish version between SugarPepper and CinnaMinty that’s all about the yearning.
Their names are Celandine Meadows and Sunset Sepia (or SunDine if they had a true ship name).
Oh jeez sorry for the lateness of this - life got pretty hectic the past few weeks.
As for your question...probably not. If I do it’d probably be little snippets here and there like the few photosets I’ve already done as I don’t have the energy to write out a full story right now.
I do have a little snippet of what their story would be if you’d like to read it though!
The story of Celandine and Sunset takes place between 1814 - 1820, and would be told in a series of letters written by Sunset to their daughter, Willow.
At the start, both do not know each other, but a set to meet at a dance. Sunset is the oldest son of a landowner, and Celandine is a wealthy lord’s daughter married to Aspen Vermouth. As mentioned above the pair meet at a dance and though the romance is not obvious at first (in fact Sunset straight up dislikes Celandine at first) they are both curious about each other. Slowly a bond begins to form when Celandine’s son takes a liking to Sunset and his dog. They discover shared interests in music and reading and a love for dogs.
Naturally, as their bond deepens, Sunset is cautious of her marriage. Initially, he likes Aspen, but his opinion sours when he overhears Aspen and his friends being rude towards Celandine. He calls them out on it but they tell him he’ll understand when he’s married.
When signs of romance appear between them Sunset pushes away, scared of scandal and of hurting Celandine (who he knows would be worse off if they ventured into an affair). For a few years, Sunset tries his best to avoid her, even considering marrying someone else for a while. But when Aspen runs away to be with another woman, Sunset sees it as fate, and that it is their opportunity to be together. The only issue is that Celandine is still technically married and Aspen refuses to fully divorce her, so their relationship is still frowned upon.
There’d be a few years of them enjoying their time together, and Sunset stepping up to be a sort of surrogate father for her son with Aspen out of the picture.
Eventually, Celandine falls pregnant with their child, and to spare their family from even more scandal, Sunset attempts to seek out Aspen to implore him to do the right thing. Whilst away, Celandine gives birth to their daughter, Willow.
Sunset returns with good news but unfortunately, Celandine’s health is failing her due to unforeseen complications. They marry on her deathbed and spend some final moments together before Celandine slips away. Her death devastates everyone, especially her parents, who cruelly orders Sunset to stay away. Too consumed with his own grief Sunset agrees, though he later comes to regret his decision. He concludes his letters hoping Willow will forgive him and that one day they might meet.
Story comes to a close when a teenaged Willow finds the letters and writes to her father. She is touched by his words and for giving her such a lovely mental image of what her mother was like. Willow convinces her grandparents to let them meet, and Sunset shares a tearful reunion with his daughter who tells him all about what she’s like and what happened to her brother. Sunset tells her that he’s proud of her and that her mother would be too.
