yeah i feel u. i’m literally the meme. and it’s funny for me bc, at first, jeonghan wasn’t even my bias. so he was just. there? i guess. i didn’t pay enough attention. and he’s someone that you kinda need to look and observe to actually get a grasp and understand that you don’t really know him. because he does this construction SO WELL that if you don’t actually stop to think about it for some time, you will seriously think you know him fully.
he’s not like mingyu or cheol or soonyoung. those for me are very intense people who do not have the patience to build someone like jeonghan did (maybe cheol does it a bit when he goes into leader mode but even his leader mode is very. different than usual leader mode for kpop than what we’re used to. and he even said in htr that he had to learn on that so. anyway). and when i mention like persona and building a character i do not mean this in a bad way in any sense. this is probably one of my favorite things about jeonghan because it makes him sosososoooooo interesting to watch. it’s like you’re on the edge and you want to watch him because at every second you might have a veeeery small glimpse of something new.
like hwa pointed out in the love lang analysis (yes this literally changed my life i will talk about it at any chance i get) this private side of him was very evident in hit the road. while we have cheol openly talking about his hiatus and wonwoo literally being carried back on stage, if you coldly look at jeonghan’s episode, there’s nothing very....... substantial there about him. and it’s funny bc wonwoo is also very private but he somewhat opened up there?
