Instead of buying it off of them, could you do something else for them instead? You would be able to save your car money just in case you run into $ problems again or car troubles/expenses :) since you guys are struggling with money right now.
My parents are pretty tight on money as well. They’ll be selling it to us for a good deal though (much lower than market value).
They just need to offset the price of the new car. They wouldn’t have bought a new (used) car if it weren’t for us needing to get one :p If that makes sense at all haha.
And we’re finally feeling good about finances again. Evan is working a full time job and is still working his part time job as well. So we’re doing good financially for just being out on our own!! :)
