BLACKWELL︔ two months on the island, originally from Ancient Greece.

The Blackwell family are the original vampires, they were originally human but that all changed. When Nikolaos met Aurelia, his feelings for her became so strong even though he was due to wed Konstantina. He gave into his feelings and started an affair with Aurelia when Konstantina found out, his world along with his family's world completely changed. Little did the Blackwell's know that Konstantina was a witch, she would end up not just cursing Nikolaos but the rest of his family as well. Cursing them to become children of the night, none of them understood what all had happened, Nikolaos ended up killing Aurelia and the first night, horrified by what he had done, he just sat there holding her. Konstantina came into the home, and told him what she had done and told him there was a cure, he demanded that she gave him but instead she took off and he tried to catch her but he lost her. He sought out his siblings, and told them everything. They decided to stick together, thinking that was the best course of action. They would soon learn to control their bloodlust, even protect certain witches along the way to which they were rewarded with daylight rings. As times went on Nikolaos gave them a last name to keep up with the time which was Blackwell. The name grew throughout the centuries of times. But no one every knew what they actually were, and that was how they wanted to keep it. Two months ago, the Blackwells ended up moving to Bar Harbor Island, wanting away from the main land for awhile.
