How to see the sunrise…..1 way out of many ;) You’ve probably seen me say numerous times that seeing the sunrise is the most important thing for your health. Our circadian rhythm is our most important health factor and the sunrise in my opinion is the most important aspect of that. How do I do it? Well, there isn’t just one way to do it. My routine and the places I do it from vary seasonally. For instance, the next 2 weeks the sunrise time is at a weird place. It’s around 7 am. We have to get the kids ready for school Tues-Thurs in the car by 750. So today sunrise was 657 am. I walked out to the side of my house, so the blue lit street light wasn’t shining on me, and grounded for about 13 minutes. I didn’t start seeing the sun until around 703 am. Naked eyes! Is most important–no sunglasses, contacts and glasses pulled down. Then back inside to get the kids up. I open the upstairs bathroom window. Grab one kid like there’s a fire in the house and take her to the window and hold her there 1-2 minutes. Then get the 3 year old up and dressed and haul him to the window for 1-2 minutes. Back downstairs for finishing making their breakfast Back outside on porch 2 minutes. Pull my shirt up and pants down so my tan through bathing suit is out for sun. The most important surfaces, obviously all skin if possible, but it goes eyes, brain, heart, thyroid, lungs, gut, private parts. But also anywhere you have organ issues. Back in to make their waters for school. Back out 2 minutes Back in while they get ready. I shine my portable red light therapy device on them while they eat, and get ready and also on myself/wife. They are finally ready. Everybody out the door. 2-4 minutes outside before getting in car and of course CRACK THE WINDOW! They drive off. I get my dogs, sun hits 10 degrees, on my walk to my sun spot, so officially sunrise is over. But sun for the day just beginning……. What's your #1 question about creating a sunrise routine?
