"I see you over there, Selphie." Vhaso'a smirks, rolling his head on his shoulders, and he lifts the highball he was drinking from in a subtle toast. "Good to see you again, darlin'."

"We must move quickly, we don't have much time."
"And since when are you so pressed?" Vhaso'a responded, one hand grabbing his jacket as he passed, the other hand plucking up what appeared to be a dagger. He held the blade in his teeth as the jacket swung around his shoulders, his stride casual and confident and only the tiniest bit hurried. Once his jacket was in place and buttoned, he would pull the dagger out of his teeth and carefully slip it into one of the jacket's otherwise hidden pockets.
"We have plenty of time. No one is even aware that we're in here. I'd wager that--"
His words were interrupted by the sound of an alarm; a low, buzzing klaxon that was accompanied with a flash of red light down the hallway. Vhaso'a shrugged, looking back over his shoulder to a Selphie who was very much fighting a smug grin. He wouldn't have faulted her if she gloated a bit. (He probably deserved it.)
"Alright, fine, maybe we don't have as much time as I thought. You were right. Let's move."
