Sun's So Bright Here|| Ariel && Rapunzel
The carriage wheel hit a dip in the road, and Ariel slid on the benched seat. She didn't like this method of transportation. It had been different when she had been in one to tour the kingdom with Eric. That one hadn't had walls and a ceiling. She had been free to look about her as she wished, and had even been given the chance to drive it herself. In this one, though, she felt cramped. The air was stuffy, and the window to look out of offered a poor view of the places they passed.
She was extremely happy to feel the carriage slow to a stop, then, and hardly waited for the footman to open the door before she leaped from the cramped quarters. Her eyes were bright with amazing, staring up at the large castle before her. Ariel had heard about Corona and its beauty, as she had done a little research before visiting, but never had she imagined something so grand. It was nearly as beautiful as the kingdom she came from.
She was ushered inside before she had time to fully appreciate the view, and was brought to wait for the royal family. The visit had been arranged weeks ago, when Ariel had pleaded to go on a trip. She would be staying in the castle, with the king and queen, and their daughter who was not much older than Ariel herself. It was an exciting prospect, to meet new people and make friends, but she worried that she may make a mistake and make a poor first impression of herself.
