Fic Summary:

To defeat King Lucifer, Adam must inherit a rare gift from his mother.

His mother often laments that being Pristinely Ungifted is a curse. Yet with the King using powerful magic to control the people of his kingdom, Redosier, Adam requires the magic immunity of the Pristinely Ungifted.

Unfortunately, the King’s men find Adam and throw him in the dungeons for being in the Resistance.

To Adam's surprise, Prince Michael insists on helping him. But Lucifer's older brother can be a liability with the widespread belief that Michael is under Lucifer's control.

Due to Michael's denial of being mind controlled against his will, Adam reluctantly accepts the prince's aid.

After becoming Pristinely Ungifted, his growing bond with Michael is tested. Adam fears Michael will risk his own life or sacrifice his magic due to Adam’s dangerous Pristinely Ungifted blood.

Badly injured, Adam watches helplessly as Michael confronts his brother.

Will they survive the final encounter with Michael's younger brother, King Lucifer?
