Description: Sunwoo had always seen Chanhee as a brother of sort. Until Chanhee presents as an omega and becomes the only omega Sunwoo wants to mate with.

Sunwoo couldn't place a finger on just what was bothering him about Chanhee's scent. "Your scent is weird." He blurts out. The older glares at him, a little offended. "Excuse me. I smell complete fine and my scent is drool worthy." Chanhee scoffed at him, being the sassy person he always was. Sunwoo's nose twitched at his words.
"Not weird in a bad way. Just it has changed. More sweet and... I don't know." Sunwoo says, confused. Chanhee freezes in his sit but tries to hide it by laughing awkwardly. "Or maybe your nose is just broken." He says. Sunwoo shakes his head. "I can smell perfectly fine thank you. And the change in your scent is nice. Just need to adjust to it." Sunwoo says. The young alpha then literally sniffs Chanhee.
The older stands up abruptly. Sunwoo looking at him in surprise. "I need to go. I forgot to do something. I will see you t-tomorrow." Chanhee splutters and runs away leaving Sunwoo a little flabbergasted. Chanhee sure was acting weird.
The next day Sunwoo doesn't see Chanhee in classes. It leaves his alpha agitated. Worried and confused. The older hadn't event texted him. Is he fine? Is he sick? He wonders. For the rest of the day he still doesn't see Chanhee. And his messages are left unread.
When Sunwoo sees him, it was after 3 days and he swear he feels like his face have been slammed into a hard wall of sweet scent by how the older smells. Chanhee smells sweet but not in overwhelming way. It is sweet but comforting. The kind of scent Sunwoo wants to sniff 24/7 as inappropriate as it must have sounded when the thought came to his mind.
"Hyung!" He calls. Chanhee looks up at him from where he was sitting with his friends. Sunwoo walks towards him as with each step he takes towards the older he realizes something. Chanhee have presented. Chanhee have presented as an omega.
"Y-You presentated." He stutters standing in front of the older. Chanhee nods his head. He looks shy, Sunwoo notes. "Our late bloomer Chanhee has finally grown up. A beautiful omega. Isn't he beautiful Sunwoooooo~ Ahh now I have to set my bestie up on dates with beautiful alphas." Changmin says being as dramatic as always. And Sunwoo feels a little choked up when he think of Chanhee with some alpha on a blind date.
Chanhee smacks his best friend on the head. "I don't need any blind dates with some alphas. The alphas you choose are either too naive or too forward." Chanhee says, it makes Sunwoo feel a bit better. For now.
With Chanhee presenting as an omega the relationship between Sunwoo and him drastically changes. Not always in a bad way. But the change Sunwoo hates the most is the fact that he can't hangout with Chanhee as much as he used to. Having random sleepover in each other's dorm room.
It was inappropriate, Changmin had said. People were going to think wrongly especially when they are not dating. Sunwoo suddenly thought of whether he would be able to have sleep overs if he was dating the older. Dating Chanhee. The thought leaves him flustered for the whole day.
With time Sunwoo gets a lot more protective and.... possessive. No other alpha can even approach Chanhee without being growled at by Sunwoo. But it is not just Sunwoo who deals with the changes Chanhee presenting has brought.
Chanhee himself feels so many changes. He doesn't like it when someone's scent covers Sunwoo. Especially if it is the darn omega in the younger's class who seems to like trying to cling on Sunwoo. But Chanhee's heart always flutter with happiness when Sunwoo reject her approaches.
Chanhee also starts liking the younger's scent a bit more than he already did. He is not going to admit it to others but he has been cuddling the stupid hoodie Sunwoo had handed to him saying "you look cold so you can wear this." But the younger's scent is fading and it has Chanhee whining in disappointment. He has half a mind to ask the younger to scent it.
Scenting. It is something intimate. It is not really a "only for couple" thing but a thing which only packmates or mates does. Sadly Sunwoo and Chanhee are not dating and worst of all they are not even from the same pack. But it doesn't stop them from scenting each other. It is mostly Sunwoo scenting Chanhee because "I am protecting you from bad alphas who wants to approach you."
"Are you and Sunwoo dating or something?" Kevin, one if Chanhee's best friend, asked as they were hanging out in a cafe. Chanhee looks at him weird. "Why would we be dating?" He questioned. Kevin narrows his eyes at that. "Are you that oblivious? You two act like some couple who is going to be mated anytime soon." Kevin days. It makes Chanhee flustered almost dropping his coffee.
"We don't do that." He says. "Sure. As if you two don't scent each other. You two are also possessive asf towards each other like my lord. And he treats you so differently. Than any other omegas and you do the same towards him. Being all soft." Changmin points out. "Exactly! I am an alpha too but I never see you coddling me as much as you coddle Sunwoo and to say that I am your bestfriend." Kevin says pulling on a hurt look.
Changmin claps his hand excitedly. "Not to forget the little small gifts Sunwoo gives you all the time. It is as if he is unconsciously courting our Chanhee and Chanhee being Chanhee accepts them because it is from Sunwoo." He cooes. Chanhee glares at him, his face red. "Fine! I like him. So what." He bourts out annoyed. He tunes out his teasing friends as he sips on his coffee. Now would be the right time for the ground to open up and swallow him, he thinks.
Meanwhile Sunwoo starts realising how he feels towards Chanhee and he has a mental breakdown in front of his friend. "Holy fuck I like him. What do I do?" He asks Eric with wide eyes. A little (maybe a lot but he won't admit) panicked. "Tell him you want him as your mate. Ask him if you can bite his neck and claim him." Eric answers.
Sunwoo glares at him. "Those are such a bunch of anti romantic words." He says. Eric huffs. "Hey I am an omega. You think all omegas like romantic shit. Some prefers to have ourselves getting choked and bitten. I mean have you seen Juyeon hyung's hands? I want to be manhandled by those." Eric rants.
Sunwoo groans at that. "First of all I didn't needed to know what your freaky ass likes in bedroom. Second of all you are just a kinky hoe. And third of all it is Choi Chanhee that I like and he is polar opposite from you." He states. Eric rolls and his eyes. "You are panicking as if everyone doesn't already know you have a crush on Chanhee hyung." He says.
Sunwoo raise his brow at that. Eric sighs. "You are painfully obvious. You do all kind of shit to make him notice you and to impress him. It is almost disgusting. Do you know how you are covered in his scent 99% of the time? I don't know if Chanhee hyung realizes it but he is unconsciously marking you with his scent. And you my dear friend do the same to him." Eric points out making Sunwoo sigh.
"What do I do now?" He questioned, mostly to himself. "Maybe just take him out and confess. I am 99.9% sure he will accept your stinky ass." Eric says with a shrug immediately getting a smack from the alpha.
Two days passes by and Kim Sunwoo, the cocky wolf, can't even ask Chanhee to go out with him. He tried. He really did. But he chickens out every damn time. So he just gives up with an excuse of finding the "right time".
Until he loses his shit when he hears that Chanhee received a courting gift from an alpha who was from the same class as the older. "Hyung!" He calls out approaching Chanhee who was in front of his locker. Everyone who sees the young alpha could see how tense his posture was. His shoulders all tensed up. If the younger was in his wolf form, no doubt his hackles would be rising.
"Sunwoo-ah... You okay? You seem tensed. Is something wrong?" Chanhee asked worriedly. "Someone courted you." Sunwoo states, annoyance clear in his voice. Chanhee awkwardly laughs at that. "No- yes- I mean like... I don't know." Chanhee says.
Sunwoo groans in frustration. "Why would you even take some courting gift from a random alpha?!" Sunwoo says. Chanhee frowns at him. "He is from my class so he is not really random." He says. Sunwoo swear he is going to shove himself down the stairs any minute out of frustration.
"That's not the point! I don't like whoever the alpha is. You better get rid of that stupid courting gift or whatever it is that he gave you." Sunwoo says with a huff. "Why should I? It is not like I have an alpha." Chanhee states rolling his eyes. "B-But you do!" Sunwoo argues.
Chanhee scowls. "Where? I sure as hell don't see one!" He scoffs. "Me! I am an alpha! I want to be your alpha!" Sunwoo growls pointing to himself. Then silence.
Chanhee looks at him wide eyed. While Sunwoo's face turns red as he realises what he just blurted out. Chanhee's cheeks turning a light pink, which Sunwoo shamelessly thinks is so darn cute.
Chanhee turns towards his locker and opens it taking something out from it. He then shoves a small box in Sunwoo's hands. "Then give this back to the alpha who gave it to me and tell them you are already courting me." Chanhee says. Before Sunwoo could say anything the older starts walking away in a fast pace.
Sunwoo looks down at the box in his hand, a little confused. "Yah Kim Sunwoo!" Chanhee's voice makes him look up. The older stands a little far away from where he stood, his face redder than ever, his hands gripping on his bag. "I am going to wait for your courting gift! It better be something I like." The omega says and without another words he basically runs away.
Sunwoo looks at where Chanhee previously stood with a dumbfounded look. Then a big smile appears on his face. A big dumb, idiotic smile. He was finally going to be able to court the older omega! If Sunwoo stayed hyper for the remaining day, all bright and sunshine, no one needed to know why. Not yet.
