Beating the sunrise

You seem unreal, an image created in my mind. Something to mirror the affection growing in my heart.

I hold my breath and remember I’m wake and you, you are as real as these feelings i have.

You are are this solid foundation of support and yet an enticing tease of wildfire, dangerous and vital.

With a spirit that cannot be broke Im in full pursuit of your heart. Chasing it until the earth blends with the sky and racing to beat the sunrise because I want it to be me that greets your morning lips.
